It's due to it being a distorted variant of an older meme, like a fucked up pedo version of what happened with Doge which makes it all the more horrid. There's also the people that quote it specifically due to the "cursed" aspect of it now which muddies shit even further. It's actually hell.

But yeah there's no doubt the people using it being talked bout here know what it means and is using it in THAT way, whether it be a cursed reference like nick bate references or a serious usage it's pretty terrible.

Did a lil digging into the crying emote "uho" stuff with pipa... I'm not here to debate her loli tendencies because there's other material that better displays that potential. I just find this to be a weird rabbit to chase. I deserve the dumb tags for that idom joke igaf... HOWEVER:

Thoughts:
  • If the tags to trigger the emote were "crying" then it was likely used as a standard crying emote just like every other twitch streamer.
  • If the tags included any variation of "uho" then likely dog whistle as null claims.
Discovery:
  • The emote is not available on twitch at any level of subscription.
  • The emote is on 3rd party platform BTTV
  • BTTV requires a browser plugin to function and display said emotes in chat
  • BTTV allows 3rd party individuals to create emotes, this emote was create by user LudwigWorldOrder

I don't dispute this, words don't intrinsically have meaning, if someone says "Uoh crying emoji I love McDonalds" it's very suspicious, but it can easily be a naive person. If someone says "Uoh" because a streamer said "she's 12" there is no room for misunderstanding.

Josh already posted earlier that the emote is called "uoh" so it's obvious what it's alluding to. BTTV requires the streamer (or a moderator given special access to that channel's BTTV page) to add emotes to their channel for it to be seen/used by members of their chat so the question of who made it is mostly irrelevant.

I have a 1000W PSU and a 650W UPS. The UPS is perfectly capable of keeping the system online as the actual idle load on desktop use doesn't go over 200W, so it's not even half of it's capacity. Even under an OCCT voltage stress load the total power usage doesn't reach those 650W. The PSU wattage is only meant to indicate what maximum loads it can take. So if you get a 350W PSU and a GPU with a 350W TDP, it will cause an overload, but in case of a 700W or a 1000W, it'll handle the load and the power draw will be the same in both cases. The higher wattage only means you can put a higher load on the system, and there are some technicalities about the peak performance where the PSU is the most efficient in converting AC to DC but that's not a concern in terms of shit working.
