I have double, triple, quadruple checked that this is posted in the right thread this time:

This is Sachi Schmidt-Hori an assistant professor of Asian literature at Dartmouth. Her most recent work? Studying Japanese folk tales about Buddhist priests that fuck little boys. A fact that the article glosses over by refering to her work covering "gender and sexuality."

Going through my MATI backlog, I watched through the March 28th, 2025 stream for the first time. That's the one where you covered a selection of cultcows. It's one of my new favourite streams you've ever done. It was fucking hilarious and had me in tears a few times. I humbly request you do more coverage of obscure figures like Michael Lambert and Danburst Studios. Thanks for the entertainment.

A little bit of tor news. Basically a flaw in the browser.

If you adjust the security settings between safe safest etc. During a browsing session. It doesn't actually change anything. Even though it appears to. It only changes it after fully restarting the browser. And this has been known for 11 months apparently.

I watched kino casinos coverage of Nick coming back from break sounding fucked up. With that weird voice. I stand by what I originally said. He is doing kratom 100%.

I know the meme is he's doing whippits, and he might be doing that too, but that isn't what that is. You can see it in his mannerisms. Kratom/opiates make you itchy. They cause a histamine release, and anyone that knows opiates can spot when someone is on them by the scratching. Besides that, nitrous wear off really quickly. The high is like 5 minutes total.

Also kratom also doesn't show up on the normal tests you get from probation or work. The only way it will is if they test specifically for it, using strips for that specifically. Or they send it to a lab, and probation just use normal 12 panel cups (the panel number will vary but that's what they do) and the only way they will pay for lab tests is if they have a good reason to b

Also, if anyone needs to remember it, I am pretty sure it’s given out in Hot Fuzz (the Simon Pegg cop comedy). And yeah it says “You don’t have to say anything; but it can harm your defense if you do not mention when questioned something you later rely on in court. Anything you do say can be given as evidence.” So strictly speaking it means you can’t withhold information from the police. Which in turn implies there is no Right Against Self-Incrimination like we have. No wonder we rebelled.

Kratom Fucking SUCKS ASS. I did one dose and felt like I was going to fall through the bed. It was the worse withdrawl 2 mins after drinking it I've ever had in my life. How fucked up that it feels like you're going through DTs when you just got your hit.

Also, the only reason I tried it was because one of my Cessna pilots at the old job told me about it. If a pilot is doing it, you're goddamn right it doesn't show up on tests.

Edit: Kratom is apparently still popular in certain circles. And may be addictive. {Like all things.}

it's definitely addictive. It acts on the same receptors as any opiate does. And has the same withdrawal symptoms as they do, and the same level of addictiveness. It's not looked at as seriously, because it's legal, and it's not going to be as easy to overdose, as doing heroin or something super concentrated. But it doesn't matter what it is. Your body just knows, a substance is coming into your body, effecting the receptors the drug is effecting, and that it doesn't need to keep producing the same neurotransmitters it normally does because it's already receiving more than is needed. And it also knows that this thing when you do it makes you feel good so x thing is associated with happiness/dopamine. So the reaction the body has is the same, as if it was heroin when you stop. Milder, depending on how much someone takes, but it's the same thing happening during the high, and the withdrawal.
 
Just caught up on last week's mati. I just wanted to say Null that I have enjoyed the bossman content you've played over the years, but I never really followed his thread or anything. Well, last night I caught my first bossman stream (highly recommend, and play along in keno chat) and I was forced to ask myself: how am I only just now finding out he does "freestyles" in mangled fake German? For anyone else for whom that is news, a clip of last night's is the last video in this excellent post. Notice how a chatter requests "German rap" and Austin demurs at first, saying it "gets old", meaning this is a regular thing! So yeah, fuck you Null for not having played this life-changing content on your stream.

P.S. If you did play it on stream and I'm a retard, fuck you for doing in the stream that I missed/don't remember.
 
If your corner store/gas station starts selling Kratom, you need to find a new store. Kratom being advertised means the junkie ancillary market floodgates are going to burst open, and they're likely about to start selling crack/meth pipes and copper scrub pads, fake 16% ABV liquor like knockoff Fireball, galaxy gas, microdose magic mushroom gummies, and air duster. Crackhead shenanigans inside and outside of the store skyrocket once Kratom shows up in my experience.
