I'd be amazed if the thing even happened. The whole thing is absolutely retarded after the massive failure of the last one and everything they're doing is only making it worse. I just tried soft shell crabs after multiple streams where null brought them up as the best food ever. They are 30 freakin dollars for a pack of 4 small crabs, but holy moly they are tasty.
This must be how black people feel about KFC.

Going over the 4chan part again.

If they are moving it to a Linux machine. It's definitely going to have a lot of little things to tweak. Tbh for a server. To make things easy. They might as well just keep using freebsd.

Just update to 14.2 and Don't let it get out of date. Because you won't have to deal with moving to a different init, deal with things moving from places like /etc and /usr/local/etc and all the little things freebsd will probably have in the scripts that are likely going to need to be changed.

That and it has a lot of little security features, that make sense for servers. Like file flags, security levels, jails. Obviously they would need to know how to actually take advantage of them. But if they did. It can make it. About as secure as anything out there.

Oh yeah. That and zfs. The zfs support I mean. It's the operating system for zfs. And if you want to make sure data is backed up, and doesn't get corrupted. That is for sure the file system to use.
 
the issue is, if they let it get this bad to begin with, does rapeape even know how to use freebsd? you'd have an easier time finding linux sysadmins.
