The "copper is going to wildly skyrocket in price, get in on the ground floor now" meme has been going around well before most of us were born and comes from a book called "limits to growth" which was an early entry into the "Malthusian collapse soon, do radical left wing politics now, or else!" genera. It has largely been memory-holed because this is back when the top experts were predicting man caused global cooling as the listen to the experts or else disaster madlib of the day.
 
The main reason copper is a meme is that for every few cents it goes up in value, some massive mine somewhere suddenly becomes profitable to run again.

copper has gone up a lot in price. that's why crackheads steal it.
in the last 20 years it's gone from under a dollar to about 5 dollars per pound so ~ 500% increase.
i mean its not a crazy amount of money but its not nothing either.
 
I am going crazy trying to remember a painting I liked. It was something like "Dog, Cat, and Frog" - like three animals, pretty sure at least one a cat, and one very small animal. I vaguely remember it being semi-realistic, hanging in either Belgium or the Netherlands or some shit like that, and it was just kind of whimsical and nice and it stuck with me.

Long shot but could it be any of her works? Dutch Belgian artist primarily does animals. More realistic art style. Lots of examples at the link but unsure if it's all of her work or just what was sold at auctions

In particular an elaboration on a completely normalized act of degeneracy called "night crawling". Apparently the Japs were always mega cucks and mega sexual degenerates. Imagine a WW2 army consisting of these fucks? Yeah, explains everything. It actually explains a lot of other things as well though, like where the omnipresent sexualization of everything in modern Japanese society and media comes from. Apparently they were always like that. The government "tried" to curb it during its westernization attempts, but to no avail it seems. Just added some makeup on it and called it a day.

It's not like it's a dog shit investment, copper is probably better than most communities - all things considered. However, it's important to understand that there is a narrative around the specific commodity that is not true. It's like how the paper silver bubble is totally going to bust any minute, only worse. The paper silver bubble is real, but maintained by guys who have more purchasing power than all of us combined. The meme that we're totally going to run out of copper just isn't true at all because it's like @reptile baht spaniard rid said.
