Like if you take the gut flora from the smartest people around the world and mix them together and do a fecal transplant (that's what it's called) do you get superpowers?
Pretty fucking close. There's been studies on an olympic weight lifters' gut microbiomes and it found that certain species and strains of bacteria found in them, when administed to mice would increase strength.

It wouldn't be hard for some company or evensome guy to make probiotics based on this research and sell it for ppl to get some increased gains and weightloss. (I've thought about it but I'm busy with another project rn)

There's also fecal transplants where you whipe out someone's gut microbiome with alot of antibiotics then have them ingest a pill containing samples of someone else's stool. Gross but has been found to fix multiple gut issues and even alter food cravings to be more online with the donor of the stool.

Sorry for the big post, microbiology to improve human wellbeing is one of my professional hyperfixations. (It's easier and more legal than straight up editing ppls genes)

The reason gorillas can be so ripped while eating vegetarian is because they get protein from the bacteria in their gut fermenting the plants they eat. That's also why they're always so bloated and fart a lot.
I wonder if you transferred gorilla bacteria into a vegan if they'd get ripped, or if they'd just explode from gas buildup.

do you guys want to crowdfund a bougie poo bank and poo transplant facility? i estimate a 10,000% ROI in the first 6 months if we open in Shanghai and LA.

I think Josh was right when he said “Asians don’t give a fuck about tranny shit” because I saw this on my feed

Only if you're the one getting your hands dirty Dear Sneeder, but we will need to hire security to watch out for turd burglers looking to steal your brown gold.

Goes back to murica, already sounds pissed, speaks 2x fast, talks about football and dota on stream.

Whatever worries you have, remember that people here can always cheer you up with some health and weight cutting advice :3

As the subject of deenz has been bought up, skinless boneless tinned mackerel is lovely and rightfully should be up there with tuna and sardines.

I went to the store and I bought every single tin of every seafood thing I could find. Most interested in trying the herring and sardines in mustard sauce. I'm sure the tinned salmon and crab is good.

Yeah the soyience these days does strongly infer that our guts are essentially a secondary brain and nervous system. So basically we are an ape brain installed above a concurrently running lizard brain in our belly. And awareness of that is definitely helpful.
Doesn't that mean humans are the omega mutt? That as we evolved, we just picked up and attached certain traits that would be favorable from other building blocks of complex lifeforms. Are humans just an evolutionary "dead-end" and things subservient to us just haven't had the same level of progress we've had? Do we fast forward and end up with other human-like beings that originally was like, a fish, or will humankind as it's known currently never allow the other species to reach that status? Hmm.
