The answer is probably that I’m a retard, but in light of this recent shooting following a disturbing trend is there anything the Internet Preservation Society could do to increase awareness or action regarding Internet grooming gangs targeting vulnerable children and teens?
Or is that too many things on one plate and out of the scope of the purpose of the organization? My thoughts are that given that the Farms is uniquely good at digging and archiving immediately after these tragedies we are probably the site most aware of this, in my mind, underreported problem that’s genuinely scary.

Sadly, I think it may be too soon for the USIPS to take any actions. We may have to keep beating the drums on social media and making our own friends/family aware of this purposeful dispiriting of the young.

I believe everyone needs to work in a low income grocery store in their lives at some point. Not whole foods, not Kroger, not target, not Wegmans. Go work at the low end stores. The budget of budget places. People need to learn how fucked up food stamps really are. They need to watch a family with new air pods and iPhones checkout 3 carts full of fucking MTN dew and snacks all tax free on EBT. Frozen shrimp and prime rib. You can buy bubblegum with EBT. You could quite literally spend your entire EBT balance on bubblegum. The amount of fraud too. I can't believe how many people I've argued with who think that water is actually more expensive than soda and that EBT is some gift to the world and they have no idea the absolute garbage you can buy with it and the things you can't buy like any hygiene items. People who haven't worked in these places in my experience really don't fully understand how bad it is.

There was all sorts of federal misconduct involved. The investigating federal agents went to jail for corruption. I think one of them stole the bitcoin from the silk road and the FBI sold off the rest. He had 144,000 bitcoins at the time. The murder for hire was never substantiated and was dropped (but was still used for sentencing)

Enoch was fine for a long time, until other people started to rebel and counter-superchat, and then the joke quickly got stale shortly after. It was routine for almost a year, but once it became a hassle or point or friction then it was gone. There's a lot of leeway with what he'll read, the worst things you can do are be boring, or gross. 4chans automotive board was just the right amount of time and stopped before it got stale, and beejams are forever.

Also your dead gay website flickered out for 5 minutes, I almost went to bed because of it

Many years ago - 2018 or 19, it's escaping me - I remember there being some kind of subforum here that was focused on archiving everything from shooters and striving to place them in mockery and contempt rather than fear. But I think those threads got migrated over to A&N or Happenings by now. I don't recall when that shift happened, though.
The most recent occurrences seem like they're entwined with online sadist groups that have their own existing threads, and from what I've read, the FBI already deems 764 and multiple others as terrorist organizations. Other than that, the best thing I can think of is to simply keep others wary of those kinds of groups.

South Africa, Rhodesia, Haiti, America's cities, and now western Europe's cities are all great examples of why you should never allow black people into your country. As much as I don't like Pajeets or Arabs, I can at least think of a few things those people have contributed to the rest of the world. I quite literally cannot think of a single positive thing the Bantu people have given to the world. They are a millstone around the neck of the rest of mankind.

Thankfully, chinks don't have a Yellow Man's Burden complex. It will be interesting to see how this situation develops and how the Chinese respond to it.
