Reddit posts are always creative writing, their merit is the ratio of entertaining to believable. Fascinating that cutting off an overgrown child is controversial though, the continued revering of people with disabilities is clearly present.

For some women, as weird as it sounds, I think that's the appeal? It's basically "I can fix him". Or they feel some kind of sympathy for them like no one else would take care of them if they didn't. Women are instinctively caregivers so I guess it depends on whether their desire to care or desire for security is stronger.

A wheelchair man is never going to stock the top shelf at Krogers. Autists always dangle the possibility of suddenly getting their shit together and being functional, excelling, and climbing up several stations in life and making up for lost time, it's their greatest (fake) asset.

You're right, I don't get the appeal of raising an autistic manchild and his children instead of raising just the children with a man who actually helps out and takes care of himself. But very much doubt many women find themselves in the former situation on purpose.

Yeah unfortunately lots of women get themselves into this situation out of pity. But I think that shit gets old really really fast, especially once she realizes he won't actually be grateful and appreciative of her mommying him because spergs are selfish and ungrateful.

I 100% agree that there should be female social workers or someone else involved into hsie scenarios and having women available to deal with domestic and sex abuse stuff is very important but I don't think they should be in the field dealing with violent offenders or traffic stops.

They aren't capable of handling themselves physically against a violent man and either result to lethal force far quicker than male cops out of necessity or they get hurt and can't stop whatever violent psycho attacked them. I think it makes the job and situation more dangerous for everyone around her. It gives her partner more to worry about, it gives a criminal an edge, it gives anyone who didn't have to die a more likely chance of being shot by a justifiably scared woman, it gives anyone victim a chance of not getting the help they need.

I'm not trying to be disrespectful to women or say they shouldn't be involved in police work full stop but I don't they should be street cops dealing in the same dangerous and volatile roles as male cops. They should be in support roles and every precinct should have one or two for cases where a woman specifically is advantageous, like sexual abuse victims or domestic abuse victims of children.

You also need some female cops to handle female prisoners, and there is a certain percentage of men who will spill their guts to a woman. You definitely don't want like half of cops to be women, though.
