Raw milk tastes way better than pasteurized milk. Main problem is that it's more expensive, have to know a farmer to buy it from, and it expires ludicrously fast. Same story with raw creme.
It's also better if you're making cheese.

PSA: If you use ultra pasteurized milk your cheese will not form curds.

It's for posture and bloodflow while working.
Standing is almost as bad for blood flow as sitting. Blood is circulated out of the legs by the contraction and relaxation of the leg musculature. This isn't happening to any significant degree when you stand. Standing still is almost as bad for your circulation as sitting, especially since it's an even longer climb back to your heart.

This is why cashiers and nurses tend to get peripheral edema frequently and then peripheral vascular disease as they age.

A bit late to the show, but watching MATI and seeing Peetz was a pleasant surprise. Seeing that sad sack wallowing in his own failure was always one of the more amusing side-shows.

Sorry to hurt you and your dear leader fee fees.

That’s okay lad. I know it comes from a place of angst and self inflicted pain rather than genuine spite. YWNB(Alone)

Hey, @Null, I found this on X, and I thought that you would find as cringe as I did.

Literally posting his L.
Was this the same guy who cut his daughter out of his will because she became a retard hoe after he abandoned her and her mom to go and fuck SEAmonkeys? I remember that whole thing 'tism'd up this thread for a bit a while back.

Standing desks are really cheap now
I have one and it only cost about 200$ which is pretty decent for any kind of desk, i think. it's big too, like an L desk.
just some made in china shit, but has buttons that make the motor move it from sitting to standing and you can set it to remember certain heights. bitch to put together but it works and i dont hate it.

idk about the health benefits or w/e but at the very least think its good for posture/back just bc sitting in chairs all day fuckin sucks.
have tried all sorts of computer chairs, even had a herman miller for a while but am now of the opinion that a good posture comfortable computer chair just does not exist.

another thing i got was a foot stool to put under my desk
this i actually like and they're really cheap

smth like this. it has screws on the side so you can adjust the height so its right for you and your chair
takes the pressure off your thighs when you sit and they got little roller things on them that feel nice if you got socks on (your fucking feet hurt from standing at your standing desk)

Her entire issue with him is that he disrespected her parents, which is a big deal in Asian culture (and not americanized at all). But you can't expect grandpa sextourist to know his wife's culture. Unfortunately she is going to be staying with him and not seperating because she just found out she is pregnant. He is 59 and she is 28 btw. 🤮

I’m with an Asian, and believe it or not they’re actually people and not just slanty-eyed cockholsters for the huwhite man to conquer.
And yeah, their family is extremely important and especially their parents as grandparents. Never disrespect Bà, you will get fucking cut.
They actually have morals and limits and shit, pretty crazy.

It's for posture and bloodflow while working. You don't burn significantly more calories by standing.

And it's not that I just learned some things are unhealthy, it's that I'm 30 and I have to start taking care of myself.
Jokes aside, how is it in terms of stamina? Do your legs / joints get tired? That's my main concern when it comes to getting a standing desk, especially since I mainly use my PC for vidja.

I've used one for years. Your legs do get tired, although standing on an anti-fatigue mat will help a greatly (a basic rubber welcome mat is an OK alternative). The trick is to get a desk that can swap from sit to stand easily, rather than having a fixed standing desk. I don't think I've ever done a straight 8h stretch standing, it varies from 30 minutes to a couple of hours at a time while remaining comfortable. If I have a day where I haven't had any proper exercise I find standing for a bit really helps to ward off that 'locked up' feeling you get where your body's just not circulating everything properly.

Vidya while standing works better than I expected, even for precise mouse stuff e.g. FPS games. You do need to be able to tweak the desk to a precise height to get the feel consistent.

In Regards to King Cobra Styx Hexenhammer admitting to practice chaos magic to kill a DA, a reminder that everyone who claims to practice chaos magic is either an unironic perpetual with contact with Hitler and Aliens OR someone who believes thinking about someone while jacking off has magical effects. There is no in between.

The former all have glowing A20 eyes and a portal to Agartha they are always willing to show you. The latter look exactly like you think they would. Make of that what you will.

In my time as a Witch Hunter General I have burnt over 20 chaos magicians at the stake. Every single time, it was over mutual embarrassment at the fact we wasted $2 million taxpayer dollars again trying to track down Emmeline Pankhurst.

I have a standing desk at work for when my back is pissed off, but realistically I'm just trading back pain for knee pain. My feet are generally fine since I stand on a squishy mat, but standing in one place all day and not walking around kills my knees regardless.
