Is there a compilation of the Nubly segments anywhere? I usually skip them but this stream I caught live and now I'm curious as to if I was missing out, but he's been doing them for a while and I don't know when he started.

We need to move past piston engines and get the based turbines without octane requirements that tanks have been using for decades.
Steam turbine nuclear is also still on the table.
The nice thing about turbines is how quiet they are.... after a while you can't even hear them anymore.

Or anything else.

And for a car you'd likely want a hybrid drivetrain as turbines don't change speed quickly, or maybe a CVT.

Happy New Years everyone, buttt.. I remember in the late 90's in a high paid IT job asking 'why are we making $70/hr for what indians are making remotely at $5/hr' and the elder guy said 'cause we're worth that money being better and we're much more efficient' while they kinda just sad around smoking cig breaks most of the time.

Turns out, well.. no, those pajeets ended up being worth 100x per person than the $ paid. That's what those MBAs back then taught and we got it now.

AI/IT jobs are gonna eat away the IT market entirely.

As a parent of young children, I am in complete agreement at the electrical plug rant, my toddlers should not be able to brush up against a plug, pull it out half an inch with the least effort, and then touch the bare conductor. The styles that latch more firmly and then have insulation on the first half of the plug are so much better and it infuriates me that that isn't a standard. Also the WF near me in the sticks has the nice small batch cheese they make near my hometown on the other side of the country, they're evil Bezosdrone overly performative libs, but man do they have some nice cheese.

In a nearby city all I’ve seen was Mexicans, and now I’m starting to see more Pajeets. Even the Mexicans don’t like the Pajeets coming in.

There are people driving big 7 passenger supercharged SUV’s by themselves. Josh is right about the freedom people have in the States by driving their own cars/trucks.

he said obama flat out deported mexicans for labor and let in the Indians/arabs to atone for 9/11.
I've let this phrase linger in my mind long enough, but I can't make sense of it.
It's like the old Lewis Black bit about overhearing a woman say, "If it weren't for my horse, I would have never gone to college."
Atone for 9/11 how?
Why Obama, and not Bush?
??? Indians somehow

Think about all those that support Vic Mignognia. You'll find your answers there.

Noise and inertia is a matter of scale, I bet the little car turbines sound could be turned into something like harmonicas. Then you can have your car exhaust sound like your favorite microtonal Hindu music.

I believe that was why the comment mentioned older cars, before the emissions came that lead would foul.

Still see people loading up racing cans at the airport from time to time.
If they haven't switched to E85 for race fuel, I doubt the lead is doing them any harm. If anything it's probably good for the soft eugenic effect.
