:
I'll put these here to get the party started. This is Kyle "Nayolfa", a former friend and creative collaborator. We created the IP Growing Around together back in 2014, and his name as well as mine and the second artist Meghan's are all on the official copyright that has been registered with the Library of Congress in the United States. You don't
have to do something like that for it to be considered "officially" copyrighted, but it's useful for legal shit, and there was another thing that happened at the time that is not relevant to right now.
These are two tweets that Kyle posted to twitter, and there were more. Many more, but these are the ones that were archived, so we can put them at the start of our story here. This was discovered on twitter by a friend that I will keep anonymous for here. Kyle did purge most of what he had tweeted prior, so here's the links:
https://archive.ph/dWGYL;
https://archive.ph/q2jMH
Both of the tweets contain the "full context" of what Kyle was replying to. This was the catalyst of me making a public announcement on my YouTube community post, and officially kicking him out of my life. I am not the first one to have done this. Kyle has a habit of leaving other people's lives quietly when it suits him, or well...
this happens. It seems to be a matter of time, every time.
(This is going to be a long post, I realize, so buckle up).
Before we continue, I want to state everything about this twitter I know. If post A and B aren't enough for you, if you search "Nayolfa" on Twitter, you tend to get a lot of weird stuff. Like a lot of responses to a lot of far-right shit.
Also, he's still continuing the exact same behavior, except periodically deleting his old stuff.
This was from June 30th of this year, more than a year after his "cancellation"
And here's another screenshot, from a "different angle." Now, this isn't a place to talk about the actual politics. That's not important right now. As far as it's relevant,
Vivek Ramaswamy is an entrepreneur who founded a pharmaceutical company, and ran for President as a Republican this year and last. This isn't something that your generic "edgelord" would care about is what I'm saying.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, let's talk about Kyle's response. I was expecting something like this. You can't say something about the internet without them... saying something back. It's posted on his DeviantArt. I'm not directly linking it because I don't want to be accused of harassment, and I blocked him. It gets uh... unhinged, so trigger warnings on alert. We'll take it piece by piece.
(Part 1/4)
"Looks like my old friend tried to cancel me." No. I distanced myself from him. There's a difference between the two, because I was aware you didn't have an internet presence.
"My current employee is trans, even though I disagree with their beliefs." You'll be hearing a lot of his transphobia throughout all of this. But, let me state the out of the gate. Being trans isn't a "belief". And if you really do have a trans employee (which I seriously doubt, considering everything else, Kyle) you're walking a fine line between falling into a discrimination suit.
Most of this is just unhinged ranting. "After the OG Growing Around team split, John surrounded himself with drama cunts." I think he's referring to people like my editors who actually
get projects done, some of which happen to have non-cis gender identities. "Keeping farming SJW sympathy off me" I don't know if Kyle is aware of this, but the SJW's don't like me for everything from Technocracy to my Homer Badman review. And it's telling that the "drama cunts" who are my friends do stick around me through my breakdowns and through my controversies, but the second that Kyle is introduced to someone who identifies as they/them for the first time he goes on an unhinged rant that nearly puts another "old friend" into tears, and then tries to clean up afterwards by saying "I don't like using they in the singular because it's not grammatically correct" (which is factually inaccurate, they has been used as a singular for decades).
"
The friend you haven't seriously interacted with since 2017" This is a lie. And it's one he keeps pulling up time and again and again and again. So, it's very important to him, I guess.
Here's a picture of us playing Among Us together in 2021.
Modded Minecraft in 2021. The last time we spoke was mere weeks before his twitter was fully uncovered. He asked me if I wanted to play "Duck Game" again. I obviously don't have evidence because I'm not Rebeccah and I don't record calls. And this is another thing. Most of Kyle and I's interactions were over Skype, and due to something about Skype changing servers or something (I don't know the technicals), like all messages before 2018 are not stored via Skype. If you've got an old computer from then, they might be saved locally, but as far as I know, neither of us have one of those old computers. So, each of us can say whatever we want. Take it with a grain of salt. I can say that Kyle burst out crying out of depression on call one night, saying his time working on Growing Around was the best time in his life. It doesn't mean you should believe me. Evidence is evidence.
Let's get into the real meat of it. Back to his DA journal, which
has been archived, my old friend.
(2/4)
He refers to DaftPina, who decided to call up both Cerra and Nayolfa to get the inside scoop, despite (or because of) neither of them currently being a part of the Growing Around team at the time. According to Cerra, DaftPina kept trying to turn and control the interview, painting it in one direction. The video still exists, if you're curious, but I've seen it, and I don't think that it's well put together. It's a collab between... someone, I guess. It's just really unfocused. But Kyle isn't very articulate within it, and even says as much in a comment on his profile later.
"I've defended you from the KiwiFarms' harassment."
He defended me from KiwiFarms' harassment by telling them that he was into vore and the story behind that. Then taking advice from people who had no interest but to laugh at him, even up to the point of accepting skype calls with them.
"Just throw me to the LGBT wolves..." He keeps saying that he's supportive of every part of the LGBT community that's not trans, but it's continually the "LGBT religion", you notice that? "Keep talking to people who want to destroy you." These people have seen my worst unhinged rants, my biggest depressed breakdowns, and they know my deepest, darkest secrets. If they wanted to destroy me, they would've done it years ago. The question that I am forced to ask, is why don't
you know any of these deep dark secrets?
"Sitting in skype with him saying racist jokes right to his ears." Fun fact, Kyle is making a comic of Growing Around to "become a good writer". I'd highly recommend looking up the basics of grammar. That's a good place to start. Being less facetious - at a certain point, jokes no longer become jokes. What's so funny about saying that you agree with actual far right like
real politicians. Not memers on the internet or anti-SJW content farms, like the kind of people that people vote for, that have like... crazy ideals.
"A real friend called me up on Twitter" I have a feeling that this is a lie. I mean, Kyle has that shirtless drawing of Sally on his DeviantArt (that I discovered in making of this post, no I'm not linking it). I'm sure that someone out there has said "maybe you shouldn't post a drawing of a shirtless
seven-year-old girl, without even
age restricting it. I have witnesses to that
hours long talk of you refusing to use they/them pronouns. My patience with you has been immense. And I don't care if anyone here believes it's true,
you know it's true.
(3/4)
"Inflammatory bait posts." Ah yes. That's how it works. I decided to act like a hateful moron on the internet. The people who look at me running around with stained underpants on my head are the real stupid ones. Was the anti-trans screed at the start of this
also an "inflammatory bait post". You're a grown fucking man, at some point you're going to need to learn how to act like one. "I would have farmed an audience off of this drama." You're a moron.
"I'm feeling confident in three years time..." It's always three years, ten years, etc. Why aren't you good enough
now Kyle? The guy holding you back was "out of your life" since 2017, remember. When this post was made, that was 6 years. 5 if we wanna cut it finely. Here's what PewDiePie did with
one. And I mean, you can't use the one argument people have been using against him, you know. That you didn't have the "spare time" because you were being a dipshit on Twitter, and you know, I saw you on Minecraft, RL Craft, Among Us, Civ 5. One time you started a group for me and another guy to make a video game, seemed really excited about it, and then you just... never said anything in that group ever again.
"I could farm followers from your own audience." Yes, I noticed. Because I'm me, I have credence to use these word. You've been sperging the shit out like a broken autist, going up and down through the list of followers telling people to read your comic (which we'll get to) and calling me a groomer. So desperate to get any kind of attention, you're asking KiwiFarms what they think of what you're doing like they'll ever give a shit. I hope you're not so dense that you think they'll
care. That's not what KiwiFarms is for, and it's honestly really really sad. Like, this is what unraveled the thread on Creepshow Art, trying to praise her own work on a forum like that. The only difference is you're not doing it anonymously, and I don't know what's sadder, really.
And for the record, I'm not a groomer. I didn't "manipulate anyone to get art." I posted a shitty MLP fan episode back in 2013, and Kyle asked if he could do a comic on it, and that's it.
So I said yes and then he started making the comic. And like... I'm not going to say no, and I'm not going to do a multi-layered interview on that. If you want to do art on my work, go at it. I never forced anyone to do anything. And I didn't have "influencer power" either. I had maybe like less than a thousand subscribers at the time.
Far from anyone of significance in my own community. It wasn't until next year with the SpongeBob torture porns episode that I blew up. And Kyle is using this because he's desperate, ill-informed, or far worse. At the time I responded to just about anyone who responded to me on DeviantArt. And yes, Kyle was 18 when we went into Growing Around. I was 21, going onto 22 myself. Anything before that was just a fan comic that I didn't ask for, he asked me if he could do it. Meghan, and Rachel the other artists were well into college when production began. Saying that's "grooming teenagers into getting free art" is quite frankly disgusting. But let me guess, it's another "meme", right? I swear, this man is a jealous ex.
"I'll accept any animated deal..." Like, it's hard to know how serious Kyle is. Because he
should know, even if he doesn't believe in trans rights or anything like that, you're not going to get
any deal if you're being publicly transphobic. You can't tell... Viacom or Disney or whatever "I was just joking". That's not how it works. The second any professional setting sees his breakdowns, they'll walk away.
"You played tea party with SJW's who don't even know the fundamentals of art and design."
This was created by Ava, one of the "SJW's" that replaced him.
This was by Kamink.
And this is Kyle's. I'll let you guys be the judge the quality comparison. I'm biased.
"For someone is constantly worried about wasting time..." I'll take Projection for 500 Alex. Then again, maybe if he
was a little bit more concerned with wasting time he wouldn't have stagnated for seven years.
Kyle's art, circa 2017
"Reminder, we talked about how annoying tumblr belief politics were back on skype, and then discord in the early 2010's." Wait, I thought I didn't talk to you since 2017?
I didn't have a Discord until 2017. That's not "early 2010's" dude. But you're saying that we talked about "Anti SJW stuff" in 2017... and then we didn't talk at all afterwards. How... interesting.
And then we're back into the unhinged rant. I'm surprised anyone was still listening to him at this point. He does know that like...
everyone in 2016 was fucked, right? I also hope he knows that it was the Anti-SJW's that shilled Candid that became the basis of Google's demonitization algorithm (because each and every one of them is and was a shill and a grifter)
Kyle, here's a question. What if the world goes in the other direction? You're unhinged now, I can't imagine how you'll exist in that world. And I mean, maybe you see that. Which is why you're trying to fight it. Or "meme it". "I've stuck with my morals 100%" what part of any of this is moral? Look, I knocked Rebeccah (StarGiantProdctions) out of community and knocked her off the internet. She's a transwoman, and like here's the funny story, you're the reason she was in my life to begin with because when you originally made the Growing Around server you
did not vet and just let anyone in, including some people from Kiwifarms. You know, the people who you told you were into Vore and had an alt vore account.
This part specifically. So, trans people are being thrown out homeless... and your solution is to be more transphobic. Like what even is this? So you witnessed personal friends commit suicide
because YOU decided to support their trans identity? The person who had a hissy fit over using they/them in 2017.
Really? "IRL friends" are the IRL friends in the room with us right now, Kyle?
Okay, wait a minute. "We are living in the greatest mental health crisis in recorded history". Because trans people. "Hell, I'm a schizophrenic at the point." So, is this an admission that
you're trans? You know what they say about closet homophobes, right?
----------------------------------------------------------------
So, after this Kyle decided to go on and on about making his "official Growing Around comic." We won't be reading it because it is literally an act of artistic vandalism. But I will point out one thing.
Because, sure. Let's use a slur. Gonna get all those Disney bucks. This wasn't acceptable to put in an animation/comic in 2014, let alone 2024. He says there's gonna be 150 of these things, overloaded with
so many sound effects and onomatopoeia that doesn't need to be there, stark world design, rudimentary posing, and sometimes changing the point of view
three times in one comic panel. Why is Timmy/Max's hair so
shiny? It looks like an ice cream sundae, which
hair shouldn't look like. It's either bad intentionally or it's really the best he can do, and once again I don't know which is sadder.
But in every single post, he copy-pastes a description.
"I still talk to the original Growing Around team"
One of the original Growing Around voice actors. I'm not giving their name because I don't want Kyle to harass them, like he's been doing to my followers.
I never called Kyle my only or even oldest friend because they've never been true. My original thumbnail artist, Mike, I met in high school, for instance.
"I'm a terrible friend." I dedicated a month of life investigating the N3k0Pan investigation, nailing Mongrel to the wall, and chasing Rei off of the internet because a friend asked me to. I did the same to Rebeccah because she hurt my friends, one of which is trans.
"John knows me" Clearly. When I had a twitter breakdown, you know who came to talk to me? Juan. I'm not even sure you remember him, Kyle. I know you don't want to genocide anyone. You'd run for the hills the second you were asked to fight. You want "the bad people" to "go away", right? "should have made more videos like technocracy", ah yes, the videos that don't get views. Instead of the cartoon reviews which you constantly talked down that are the reason I have a job at all. You've always been a shit friend. Fun to play games with, but when it comes to like... seriousness, you're shit.
"I'm finally studying anatomy..." In 2023. Despite doing art professionally since what? 2013?
Never said it was bad while the project was at its worst.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/...wtVIbOFTg/edit?tab=t.0#heading=h.y6sgtydmzy71
For all fairness, here's the document he keeps pointing to.
For the record, Kyle did compliment
one script: Picture Day. This was an episode where it was school picture day and the kids try to make the adults as messy as possible, which is something the adults
did not want. Something 2014 me might have called a "torture porn." Kyle likes it, saying "it's something kids would actually do!" Of course, one of the few complaints Kyle could articulate is that "the world is torture for the adults." It's like this
constantly working with him. He'll say one thing, think of another, but really want a third thing. "Tell me everything you know about the characters" "Okay, here I wrote it down." "I'm not reading that, it's too long." I bet literally any of his collaborators will vouch for this kind of behavior.
Sometime around 2015 I think, Kyle did convince me to work on something small. I wrote something a minute long.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BMtGmLiGUz6AgK9WEhOm4o6TiNYaH4U2iZvX3lTHF9I/edit?tab=t.0
Kyle couldn't get the storyboards done. Saying it was
again too ambitious.
I wrote something 10 seconds long. Meghan even did a background for it. Nick and Kimberly did voice for it.
Kyle
still couldn't do the storyboards for a beginner ten-second long introduction project. Both projects he
approved ahead of time. That's what he does when the going gets hard, he
runs. It's not just in the serious stuff too. He'll dip out of things like our Minecraft or Civ games just midway through, leave the server and everything. "Without even saying goodbye." He's a flake, and I'm surprised he's gotten
this far with his own comic. It's saying something that spite was the only motivation that could break through the fugue.
Like, for
months he was on and on about "having problems" with 2017 Growing Around, and trying to put together the doc I linked. And like... never finishing
that and running off, quietly transferring ownership of the server to me. Guy goes away for a year, comes back, and sees that I have a mechanical girl called Molly who acts girly, and comes back and is all like "what the fuck. You can't do that! Mechanic girls should be exactly as cliche!"
"He'll do whatever he needs to do to keep going on and keep his career a few more years, including stabbing me in the back." You think that
helped my career? No, every time I bring shit up like this or dunk on transphobes, I lose subscribers. But I do it anyway, "because my morals are 100 percent consistent."
Here's one my qualities as a friend, Growing Around failed due to both of our qualities and inexperience, and I've shouldered the entire blame of its failure so well that even
you seem to believe otherwise, despite being right on the front lines. Whether it be you constantly trying to get us to work on
something else, flaking on people constantly, or being a walking HR time bomb. I've had patience for you for almost ten years. So much crap I've stomached because I was
1. Worried about you. I have personally seen your breakdowns
2. Hopeful you could improve
3. Didn't know how bad you really were. And I don't just mean the transphobia shit. I mean all of the other character flaws that became apparent when I kicked you out of my life.
And here's the thing I know about your edgelord friends. The second they see what you're doing, even if they agree with
why you're doing it, they're gonna kick you out of their lives too. Obsession is cringe mate, I oughta know. "Can't play Duck Game today with you, I have to waste 4 hours drawing a comic for a premise I hate to get back at this guy who said shit about me a year ago despite it not affecting me and me not talking with him since 2017." Is that what it's going to be for the "decades and decades" ahead of you?
You commented on my video less than 24 hours after it was posted, despite me not mentioning you by name, and started spam-calling me a groomer. You can't say you don't care. And for what it's worth, I know you'll be reading this. And the Kiwifarmers will too, and just because they think I'm pathetic doesn't mean they'll see any positive in you. Why don't you show that to your
real friends. The ones you have left, because I know for a fact that I'm not the first person to kick you to the curb.
Now let's talk about what Kyle calls the "LGBT religion/mafia." What he's calling a "mental health crisis." I am asexual, and have publicly identified as such since damn near the start. "Asexuals" are in the LGBT community, and up until like 2013 it was considered a mental illness "Male Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder" to the point where my licensed therapist thought I was confusing terms. I've been through this "it's a mental illness" thing before and got a bunch of crap from all kinds of people because of my identity.
I have talked to trans people personally and individually and they have told me the conflicts of their own gender identity and dysphoria. Good people, and bad people, who happened to be trans. In short, being trans isn't the reason Rebeccah is broken. Being Rebeccah is the reason Rebeccah is broken. I'm not going to go into personal stories here; it's not my own business, but it's obviously "not a religion." And you know what, a lot of trans people hate the activists who bullied people for playing Hogwarts Legacy or whatever (it did happen, factually), because that creates more problems for trans people. I can say that, confidently, and I can confidently say that my "SJW friends" will not crucify me for saying it. I can't confidently say that you wouldn't have done the same if I said my nails were painted when I wrote the GA pilot.
And I'm not saying whether they were or weren't. Because I don't talk about my gender identity to you. But I will say that there are times when I've had questions, and there's plenty of times where I've chosen the more feminine option. I mean, I wrote plenty of stuff about gender identity into Growing Around, which you would
know since Pinks & Blues was what, 2015. I wanna say.
"We were talking about SJW's and stuff." Let's say, for the sake of argument, you're right because you keep bringing it up like it means anything. If anything it means I've changed and you haven't. But let's say I'm still the shitlord you think I am. I can tell there's a difference between saying Keffals or Antia Sarkeesian are idiots and saying you would "bankrupt yourself to buy enough copies of Hogwarts Legacy to genocide trans people to prevent the mind disease from infecting children." You see how those two things are different, right? Or are you just
that stupid?
Keep me updated if Kyle sends you guys anything else, by the way.
