even if null isn't right about the shredders in general the 2020 election looks like what you'd get if the ballots and everything was just meaningless and randomly generated to match a desired result

If the system works like you say it does, what I don't understand is why allow Trump to win in 2016, who as far as I know was a complete political outsider until then? What does this system gain from a Trump presidency?

This is an easy answer - if you can see that continued blue rule would result in the complete destruction of the USA and/or the world, then the system needs to allow Regan, Trump, etc now and then to release the pressure and ease off the gas.

You still eventually get to the complete destruction of the USA, but you get there slower.

The above holds even if you believe and trust the elections work as designed - they are literally designed to prevent revolution by allowing pressure-release now and then.

The 2050 conservative meme fits here. Trump just is Bill Clinton, and he's now "far alt right".

I think the deeper problem is the only "heroes" taught in public schools/college (where 90% of people start and end their study of history) are from the (disastrous) civil rights movement, and ideally the way to counter that is to mock retards who's "heroes" work has resulted in the new American dream being to live so that they do not have to deal with the obvious and very predictable results of the civil rights movement.
