I find it hilarious that in their effort to be "not-racist", they end up still attributing nigger behavior to black people. I lost it when there was that flashback to Pax bullying her sister and threatening to kill her and chat was spamming #stopasianhate. Instead of trying to make the MC likeable, they just make everyone bend over backwards because she a gud girl she dindu nothin. The same thing happened with the MC of Forspoken (the other multi-million dollar trashfire) where you had a brown/black woman unabashedly lie, cheat, and steal and it was all ok because she's "special" and was the "chosen one". That one was even funnier once it was revealed that her mother from the other world visited NYC, had a one night stand with a black guy, and later dumped her infant daughter back in NYC.

2. the game is genuinely more interesting to play than Life is Strange.

In Dustborn's defense, the one thing that elevates it so far above LiS is that there's a lot of scenes. It's relatively impressive, when compared how quickly you will progress from completely different locations.

LiS has very, very similar locations and look and feel to this game, barring the retro-science shit, but it lingers there. Forever. And they aren't that interesting to begin with.
 
I suspect someone had a large percentage of caffeine in their bloodstream during this clip. It's a bit of a slow start.

It's a shame Josh chose to push Sai to drive faster in the intro. If you tell her to pull over, she does, the cop comes up and starts demanding that you get out of the vehicle while Pax yells at him, he pulls his gun and backs up into the road where he gets merked by a truck.

I was watching this review to see how bad the game was, and thought it was funny that they also happened to notice the crazy nutritional facts on the peanuts that Josh did. timestamp should take you to 9:01 in the video
 
There was a movie made back in 2020 about gay libruls who had to escape through a checkpoint to Canada from Trumps literally Fascist Tucker Carlson's America because it became a Christian dictatorship that banned gay people. I can't remember the name of it but I swear Dustborn ripped the plot straight from that movie lmao.

its mildly weird that LiS and Dustborn both have a truck of peace scene. Woke games love trucks

It also helps that it actually has a combat system and not just button clicking "your choices matter, wait no they don't lol". It switches things up a bit. I am enjoying watching this a lot more than Life is Strange, LIS had a lot less funny moments and a lot more painfully boring shit that got dragged out way too long. Also as ugly as the characters are in Dustborn, they are at least more visually distinct than just "same model but with brown hair and with blue hair".

Deon "Butterdog" Garth is still suicide baiting for donations. He's also revealed that his mother sometimes has to work 20 hours long shifts to support the both of them while he still refuses to get a job. Why does he refuse to get a job? Because he feels discriminated against because the employees in Dollar Tree accused him of shoplifting a time or two. There's other gross details such as him refusing to bath for 25 days and doxing more people he feels wronged him, but nothing seismic.

Fortunately for Deon, he's finally had a video gain some traction, a Youtube short that's organically pulled 11k views. It's a video of an "endless" drawing of Super Mario Bros. characters. He stole the video from Reddit, which was itself stolen from Instagram, as all the greats do. This caused a tiny jump in subscribers (about 10-20) which warranted this begpost:

SpaceX's competitors are Boeing, who failed several times despite having a significant higher NASA budget for the same shuttle transport between the ground and the ISS and it's latest flight required SpaceX to rescue the stranded astronauts and the US goverment funded SLS which began in 2011, using mostly already used space shuttle parts, it costs 2 billion dollars per launch and it only flew in 2022 instead of 2016 as expected, it's next flight is only due in 2025 and it isn't reusable like Starship.
For fiscal years 2011 through 2023, the SLS program had expended funding totaling $26.4 billion in nominal dollars. This is equivalent to $32 billion in 2024 dollars using the NASA New Start Inflation Indices.[83]

Starship started development 8 years after a US goverment rocket which used mostly reused space shuttle components will cost more than half its total development budget and it will cost a fraction of 2 billion dollars to launch when operational.
