For anyone who doesn't know, Cardposting used to post on 4chan a shit ton (on /lit/, he also published a weird fucking novel as /lit/-posters do) and I'm pretty sure he had an account here, some random Asian name. I'll have to try to find him again if he's not baleeted. I am 100% sure he knows what he's up to and I love him for it. He is my favorite leftie (Jolly Biscuits is a strong second, though).

Everything I can find online says that this was a manufactured controversy from a year ago (this article links another article about the Michigan study from last January), that the WEF did not fund the study, and that they have drawn no actionable conclusions from it and made no recommendations or demands anywhere.
