Swedish bank's CEO is trying to replace financial jobs, particularly at banks, with AI. He also wants to make "bankers, CEOs and lawyers" redundant. However, when it comes to replacing his own comfy CEO position, he instead considers replacing 700 of his employees with AI. When a journo asked him whether he would pass on the saved money to the customers in the form of lower interest rates on loans, the CEO flatly refused that. He is also a shilling for "A digital identity card" that would be a "passport with which they could identify themselves on the Internet" (to be fair to him, that was in relation of banking activities). Thought Null might find this interview interesting.

 
I have a submission for the Reddit segment. Just a funny little thing.

This puerto rican woman and her bf are convinced some insulation balls are in fact insect eggs.

She is reassured hundreds of times it’s just insulation balls. She insists they jump and move in ways “only an insect would have done,” were “clustered” in one section. Despite the fact they look nothing like eggs, with the extreme size differences for one, and rolling around for two.

This is standard EU practice by the way. Pedos just claim they’re bisexual and get automatic perma residency. I find that funny because it’s so low-effort. In the UK it’s so dire that even when rapists are deported (despite the activist lawyers interfering and cabin crew causing flights to be grounded) but appeal and are allowed back because they can’t get free depression treatment in their native country. Those activist lawyers get another win for human rights!

Speaking of, @Hubelublub has been providing updates on Gisele Pelicot's case and the trial has been a fucking clown show. I'm starting to be convinced the rapefugees fit in just fine with the native French population.

You know what, I actually agree. We should ask, does Algeria really want another child rapist tranny in their country? Would it be very friendly to airdrop one back into their lands? I think not, regardless of how much child rape is more tolerated in such lands, the situation certainly wouldn't improve by putting ones back into the ecosystem.
Thankfully there is a tried and true solution to problems such as this, and even better, the solution was often preceded by a speedy trial of only three days, so much in the way of legal costs and court scheduling days can be saved on.

I wish they did more sticker or patch runs. Surely it has to be easier to find some indie company with a sticker machine who can make it happen and will take crypto etc, than a tee-shirt company. And from what I understand, you get a great markup on stickers.

It's baffling really, DC's animated movies have been really solid for 15+ years. Just do those, with live actors. They really can't figure out something so simple.

We’re not a huge site but there is usually a robust discussion on media stuff in the off-topic section. Nowhere near as fast or as populated as 4chan, but if you subtract the smut, ragebait, and spamming it’s about the same amount of actual discussion.
