Torque Torture Test is a good channel, they don’t pull punches to get free shit from companies.

There is a skill and it’s learnable when buying knockoff and fake and imitation and cheap copies of shit on the Internet and flea markets and bazaars and other such places. It’s about knowing when and how the knock offs are good enough (harbor freight went from absolute chinesium shit to actually-store-or-truck-brand quality on hand tools in 20 years for example: still wouldn’t touch them for power tools) and when you pay extra for the warranty and support and quality. Many name brands are just rebadged chinesium shit so you’re paying for the ability to return it.

But for shit you throw away anyway? As long as it doesn’t touch food or go in your body, who gives a fuck?

Not trying to sound like a keyboard psychologist, you don't know me, and I don't know you, but the only person you're trying to convince with this is yourself. You know damn well you could at least try. You might as well just not say anything about it because it just sounds like wings when you make excuses. The greatest advantage in weight loss is time. If your mindset is, "Well, I'm not in ideal conditions right now, so it's useless to start now," that's a loser mentality. Every day is a battle. Maybe you don't win every day, but every day you don't lose is another win under your belt. The days you lose don't suddenly take away the days you won. If your weight is a genuine health issue, think about your future wife and family. You owe it to them. I think you do and have done a lot of good work, and I think you're fighting a battle that is worth fighting. I get that there's a lot of stress involved with all of that, and you have a lot of enemies, but is it really any worse than what your ancestors fought with? Even if you don't start your weight loss this year, I hope you can come back to this in the future and prove everybody wrong on how you did eventually lose the weight
 
I only started watching MATI because Jim left to die/get smokes/make hats. Jim is just Jersh, but with a sense of humour, more charisma and a ripped farmer bod, according to Ralph.

Jim's old stuff - like the Tublr series and Internet Insanity - is still great to watch.

What never works is setting a specific goal for a specific time and or being public and competing about it that is just a set up for failure because you will miss your goal and if you wanted to lose 20 pounds and you only lost 10 you’ll feel a huge failure even though a 10 pound loss is a big win.

I once lost 20lb on a 20 week weight loss challenge at work where I went hard on Wii Fit, but lost the challenge overall because some fat bitch got a stomach stapling surgery and cheat her way to a free $600. Whatever, I explored the shit out of that bicycling island, where you step to pedal. I can go up or down whenever I want via DDR sweat.

What is the point of this? I'm not going to post pictures of myself, so if I say I've lost 2000 pounds and am ripped, are you just going to be like "ok I'll stop being fucking annoying now?"

No, I don't need to see what's under your clothes but it's not off the table in my eyes in the future, anyways my apologies and the double post lol, just know that you do well as it is already if you are comfortable with the weight you are at. Don't push yourself if you don't need to.
