It seems like a retro-2nd-wave feminist fable about a bored SAHM who has an awakening [why now? well I can think of a few reasons, but the movie will never go where it needs to go AFAIC] only it has a crass-looking/sounding title, which makes it comfy for self-loathing 3rd-wavers/shitlibs.

The goal of all antinatalist propoganda is to make motherhood seem low status (and fatherhood detached), regardless of if it is pro- or anti-motherhood in moral weighting. Financial incentives do nothing to move the needle on TFR as seen in Hungary. Status and to a much lesser extent social health drive fertility rates as seen in countries where parentage grants esteem.

People underestimate the "message seller" feature on AliExpress. I've had all kinds of custom shit manufactured to personal spec just by having a 5 minute conversation with some chinese guy in a sweatshop.

I ended up forming a friendship with one of the people running a clothing store, and it turns out they owned a whole textile factory, and the lady's husband owned a shoe factory. I was buying extremely good knockoffs of sports jerseys and reselling it to local niggers on Offer Up. I was charging $200 for NBA jerseys with custom color schemes and names while they cost me $26 after shipping and taxes. Shoes were a little harder to flip but it still wasn't difficult to get $300 for a $70 pair of fake yeezys.

Please don't read scripture superchats if you have no personal, specific desire to do so. Shit's boring and aggravating, even when it's speaking a message that I agree with. Having unironic/unfunny sermons shoehorned into a show like MATI makes me MATI. It's become a reason for me to pause the stream for a couple of minutes at some point before superchats so that I can skip the scripture.

That pidgin reading was fucking funny, on the other hand though. I wonder how they go about rewording the passages condemning the consumption of shrimp. "Aww Lawd, dey's eetin dem bugs 'n shieeeet. Das fucked up, mhmmmm." Poor Bubba.

I usually skip the Cobra segments because I just don't usually find the cooking that funny and I'm not invested in his weird relationship drama, but I didn't with this one since I was just listening in the background and when he started playing his music to honor the school shooting I legit thought he started playing fucking gunshot noises and started dying from just how bad taste it seemed to be. Wasn't even what he was doing but I was not ready for that regardless.

As for the gun safe thing, similar stuff's been shown with suicide prevention and with websites. Guns are so high on the suicide charts not only because they're good at getting the job done, but also because it's not a ton of commitment to grab an unlocked gun and shoot yourself. The more steps towards committing suicide, the more chances there are for the person to stop and calm down. According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, most suicidal people without easy access to a lethal method won't go out and find a new one. Suicidality's often fleeting and when you consider that depression's hallmark symptom is lethargy, most people aren't committed enough to go super out of their way to die. Meanwhile on websites there's research that I don't have on hand right now where they figured out the average percentile drop off for each click needed to accomplish any task, which is why the method of unsubscribing from any sort of paid subscription is always really obtuse and takes a million clicks.
 
Temu is like an AliExpressExpress, same thing but a dumbed down inventory and I guess a more bottom of the barrel normie friendly experience. Where as you might get ICs and sensors on AliExpress you get sunglasses and running shorts on Temu. Though in fairness their inventory has grown a bit over the last couple years but this is offset by the atrocious app and yet that in turn is made up for by the relatively fast shipping.
