Private board on the farms with the chat board for it only, and use whatever anyone scrounges up for fire transfers. There’s lots of Linux hostable shit or just use box or dropbox as temporary (assume everything everywhere gets nuked all the time).

The danger with anything else is people WILL reuse their shit because they’re retarded. But discord with requirements to signup with lolcow emails might be moderately ok.

He is a Catholic, and I wouldn't blame him for javascript being awful. He was forced to write it in less than a month for Netscape. Had he had more time, he would, as he has said in interviews, have done it differently. If anything, it's impressive that he wrote it in 2 weeks. That's the computer equivalent of making the earth in 7 days.

Every community I've ever seen try and host Matrix has moved to something less brutal on resources, like RocketChat.

If file sharing needs to occur (are there people who can do useful video editing but JDownloader or YT-DLP are too confusing for them?) then 'Whatever' (Discord/RocketChat/mailing lists)+Mega for file hosting seems like the right solution.

Considering his lifestyle, I think he has better insight as to how to deal with American and otherwise bureaucracy than most people here. If he talked about this in his recent episode, I would like a timestamp, and if he didn't, I would like to know what he thinks the implications of every US citizen having their information public now would even be and how one can protect themselves in this situation.
