A pair of eco warriors from Nova Scotia were found dead in a life raft after trying to cross the Atlantic in a fossil fuel free yacht.
Bong Sarah Packwood and Canadian husband Brett Clibbery were trying to prove that they could cross the Atlantic using only solar panels, batteries and a repurposed car engine, calling their journey the Green Odyssey and uploading videos to youtube.
“We’re doing everything we can to show that you can travel without burning fossil fuels,” Mr Clibbery said in the video, posted on 12 April.
“It’s probably the biggest adventure of our lives so far,” Ms Packwood added.
Quite.
