“We’re doing everything we can to show that you can travel without burning fossil fuels,” Mr Clibbery said in the video, posted on 12 April.

“It’s probably the biggest adventure of our lives so far,” Ms Packwood added.

I can see why in the year 2018 he’d feel that. It was a year after the Unite the Right rally and tension and hysteria was at an all time high and soon confederate statues would being torn down with iconoclastic fury. He’s obviously worried about losing his sponsorships and media was looking for any white male it could as a Nazi and a racist. Optics wise he shouldn’t have posted that and instead just kept quiet but then again he probably thought it’d give him good boy points for not supporting the evil racists.

The article said that one theory is that a container ship hit them without noticing and just carried on, but no wreckage of the boat has been found to support that.

Yeah I read that, but it seems to be just a guess. The atlantic ocean is really big so I doubt they will find the wreck and be able to figure out what happened. Must be really hard for their kids.

He's still a spineless piece of shit. I'd rather deal with the folks who proudly (EDIT: Wrong word sorry) consistently fly a Confederate Flag (or a NSDAP one, or an Israel one, etc) than him.
