I know they don't fly backwards, but the bruising will hurt, and it doesn't take a lot of force to cause shortness of breath and painful breathing. Getting shot is disorienting, on top of the pain of the bruising that will develop. The more pain someone is in the more mistakes they'll make. They won't be 100% focused on the attacker. Recoil on higher caliber guns is enough to bruise my shoulder when I go shoot my 12ga. After going through about half the box of slugs, I become less accurate.
Getting shot at is going to have a bigger impact over getting hit in the plate. The psychological impact is much bigger than the physical

Isn't 416 Barrett better than 50 BMG? 50 BMG is browning machine gun, repurposed for sniper rifles, whereas 416 was designed from the ground up for it, and also to bypass California's gay-ass 50 BMG ban.

50 BMG is not really used in sniper rifles afaik. The accuracy is dog shit. More like anti-material rounds

The last time I bought 7.62x54 I think it cost me very little and I was able to stock up. The Mosin I bought only cost me $200
When did you buy a mosin? The pandemic spiked the price out of meme gun range, and last I checked springfields were cheaper.

I still have a bunch of old milsurp nugget food. It's too bad I don't have matching serial numbers in mine though

Here's a Youtube archive of today's MATI for anyone who missed it. It won't embed, but it works.

The typical archiver either won't be able to upload this one or, if they can, it will be delayed (according to a last minute community post they published).

I'll agree with that, also having to shoot someone, self defense or otherwise takes a toll psychologically.
a next door neighbor of mine had a heart attack and set his duplex apartment on fire. I finish working in my garden and smell this burnt plastic/rubber smell, I ran into the burning building. The neighbor made it out and I told him to call 911, the spineless coward did nothing to help except for giving me vague directions to where the fire extinguisher was. After making two passes to ask him to be more specific, the entryway was now fully engulfed with no way to back the way I came. I did find the fire extinguisher but had to find a way out. At that time all the lights had busted due to the heat. I was in a dark smokey room and visibility was very limited. I did find a window and jumped out. I ran around the house with the fire extinguisher. It was so pathetic, it was empty in a couple of seconds. I tried for a third attempt but someone pulled me back. That's when the fire trucks arrived. All of that took place in 15 minutes. If I could have gotten him out I was CPR certified and I knew basic first aid because I was both a life guard and security guard. I still think he died because I couldn't get to him in time. Not only did he die, but I could have. All that effort and nothing good came of itNow the smell of burning plastic and rubber takes me back. The only forsight I had before running in was tieing my shirt around my face so the smoke inhalation didn't get me. That was about 3 years ago, and I still deal with it. I only hope the heart attack killed him because death by smoke inhalation or burning to death is one of the worst ways to go. So your assessment of being shot at is psychological rings True. Anytime your life is put in danger there is adverse side effects psychologically

I bought it in like 2016 or 2017
