I watch on Grayjay. I think this comes from the Rumble stream but it may be directly from Grayjay now, he looks like he's set up there.

I use a relatively nicer Samsung phone and Lenovo earbuds that are great except when I listen to MATI and this one other streamer who reacts to Parole board hearings.

Usually between 60 to 75 percent is where my volume is. With MATI and the other stream I mentioned, I have to crank it up to 100 and it's not enough.
 
My speakers volume is physically set to ~95% (as in my dial on my actual speakers in almost maxed).
But my volume via software sits around 20%.
I listen to Null on Kick and I never had issues hearing him well. Outside of buffering niggatry[sic] I never had issues. I think he should test this stuff himself and stop listening to the faggots in chat.
All my homies hate the chat faggots.

Ok. Our phones are similar. I'm guessing the earbuds are wireless. You will be getting loss, so if the audio is mid, it's not going to be great coming out of bluetooth. Try wired, buy some cheap wired earbuds, get a dongle if you need and try a little experiment. I think your sound situation will improve.

Yeah, I've tried with the dongle and high quality wired headphones.

Honestly I think the audio level is just low. Other content comes through fine.

I just realized Law Talk With Mike, another livestream I like, has the same issue.

Edit to add: it doesn't matter, though. He already said he doesn't know how to fix it and won't fix it. I'm probably just annoying him at this point.
 
No flames here, but want to add that I watch on Rumble. The stream was ALWAYS very quiet compared to other sites and system sounds volume, but I get an addon that let me volume boost the tab by 400%. Problem solved.
Perhaps the restream service/lack therof is to blame? Maybe there is some obscure audio setting which was toggled.
I get the frustration.
If the audio up to the microphone volume bar is good then the PITA hardware can be left alone.
You might have to "work your way up the stack" from that volume bar however.
From the layman's perspective I think the restream service might be responsible if the problem is only on some platforms.

Listening via Rumble with Brave on a lenovo tablet always a quality experience
