It's interesting how even on KF there are coomers who want to use the thread not to document to discuss he insane way the industry works and how it fucks everybody it touches but rather how they're not getting the fap material they want.

I guess you missed the whole "don't piss people off or they might become unreasonable and you'll probably deserve it because that's such an insane thing to do, it cannot be seen any other way, and also something similar might happen today because people can't stop pissing each other off" thing, huh?

On the addiction. And prohibition thing mentioned in yesterdays stream. I think its complicated. More complicated of an issue than just decriminalization fixing the issue.

There are some things we do know for sure. One is, the current U.S. criminal system is broken, and doesn't fix the issue when it comes to drug offenses. Recidivism for similar offenses is extremely high, and if anything people tend to come out of prison worse than when they went in.

I don't think just decriminalization is the fix. Mostly because a lot of things with addiction just are kinda behind as far as our understanding of the causes, and actual effective treatments. They didnt even classify addiction as a mental disorder until not that long ago. At least at this point we have classifications for it.

But as far as current fixes for it. The only thing that I know of that is effective at getting an addict sober, is aa or other 12 step programs. But the problem with that is, at least in my experience as a sober addict, is that AA only works if you actually want to do it, and are willing to listen. And most addicts don't want to hear that, or don't care until they hit a rock bottom low enough to actually give it a real chance.
 
The justice system is irreparable. You have a system that is "justice is blind" and treats everybody the same, but wherein most of the offenders are a minority demographic that can't be acknowledged. So people default to a "tough on crime" stance that results in everyone being treated harshly, because you need that for the minority offenders who can't be acknowledged because justice is supposed to be blind. The result is a punitive justice system with zero effective rehabilitative programs that grinds up the non-minority offenders.

The entire US can be described in this sort of way. Why is healthcare broken? Why is education broken? Why is the police system broken? Why is government broken? Why are elections unsatisfactory and why do they achieve no meaningful change? Answer for all of these things: we have an equal society compromised of unequals. All systems developed must treat everyone the same, when they are not.

The alternative is much worse. I want child actors banned from entertainment entirely, let alone have their parents force them into Vtubing.
If classic theatre can cast women to play young/teenage boys because of their non-test voices, then vtubers can do the same to sound like anime characters.

the adage about never working with "animals or children" is true, but once you find out why actors feel that way, you want to change your media habits also.
