It may come as a bit of a surprise but I am a bit of a videogame enjoyer myself and I have a few calm and well reasoned thoughts on this topic...

In the mid to late 80s there was such a glut in videogame consoles and low quality shovelware that the entire industry almost collapsed. If it weren't for the NES it probably would have and, since that time, gaming has grown at an explosive rate to become more profitable than the music and movie industry COMBINED. These motherfuckers are making money hand over fist, but they won't be happy until they make literally every dollar on Earth. Fuck them. You can make fun of Jimmy Jim Jam James Stephanie Sterling Stardust all you want but that motherfucker is right about one thing - the idea that game prices need to be raised is absolute fucking horse shit and any of you shitfaggot motherfuckers with Activision's cock holstered firmly in your throat who say otherwise should kill yourselves. These faggots charge $70 for the BASE experience. You want the entire package your ass has to shell out $120 for the deluxe edition with the season pass. You think any of that shit will go away if they raise the base price of games to $100? Fuck no. I wouldn't shed a tear if these motherfuckers were dragged into the street and beaten to death and their shareholders rounded up, shot, and rolled unceremoniously into mass graves. I remember not long ago people were appalled when Bethesda tried to charge a few bucks for horse armor and here we are a few years later and Blizzard is charging $25 - $30 for ONE cosmetic armor set in Diablo 4 that should have been in the motherfucking game to begin with ON TOP OF charging for seasonal content every 3 months. Or look at Destiny, for instance. The motherfuckers at Bungie have the audacity to sell you overpriced DLC for their skinnerbox looter shooter only to TAKE IT AWAY FROM YOU LATER. But if you point this out you'll get a whole brigade of pathetic manchildren with more money than sense to tell you "wahhh games are more expensive to make than ever before wahhhhh they take millions of dollars to make wahhhh." Honestly people like that should just go ahead and admit the would spread their ass cheeks and let Bobby Kotick sodomize them with a pineapple and PAY HIM for the pleasure. If you defend this shit kill yourself. Every one else, it is your moral imperative to give as little money as possible to the gaming industry as possible. Never preorder. Buy used if at all. Never pay full price for any game ever and, most importantly, steal every game you can. It is morally and philosophically justifiable to do so.

Prominent Philadelphia LGBTQIAP+ activist and TIM Kendall Stephens has been charged with raping two children under-13. Stephens was on a LGBTQ+ advisory comittee chosen by the Philly DA's office, and in their announcement (here's an archive since Stephens has already been scrubbed) they wrote that he was evidently a board member of a children's home. It's insane that being a tranny and calling yourself an "activist" is evidently enough to have organizations give you unquestioned access to vulnerable children.

Stephens was also a good friend and neighbor of Josh Kruger, the gay journo who was murdered in his home a few months back by a homeless 19-year-old who said Kruger abused him as a minor.
