But the energy cost of Divine Lightning with a "discard all energy" modifier is way too unfair to the player using that card versus the damage done. Such a move might have worked 20 years ago before power creep set in bad, but even then this move is not balanced. It should have a discard of one energy or (if you are going to discard all) the move should do closer to 100 damage.

How about some point and click adventures like deponia, gibbous or some classics like day of the tentacle or monkey island.

Another, admittedly for streaming a bit unorthodox option I wanted to suggest is Suzerain a kind of text based rpg where you have to lead a fictional country as their new president.
 
How about West of Loathing? It's got a bunch of demonic cows that try to kill you, so it's not too far from your real life experience.
