So you're saying that Patton was killed because he might have convinced Truman- who thought so little of Patton that he likened him to Custer- to do the Cold War? When Truman was already moving to set up the CIA to prevent the democratic election of Communist parties in Europe following the war?

Not quite. I'm saying that the CIA, who was the faction that held sway over Truman at the time, wanted to do the Cold War instead of a theoretical hot war that Patton seemed to support. In order to make sure that Truman stayed on their plan Patton had to go, so he gets ran off the road. That isn't to say that Patton necessarily had a good chance of success, but just that they saw him as enough of a loose end that he had to go.
 
Does anyone else like having sensible chuckles when Null tries to make metaphors about things that aren't very specific niche electronics applicable? During the abortski car salesman bit it was quite a lark hearing about automobiles that apparently have a "bolt" that will not "come undone."

dalmatians actually have a history as being an extremely territorial and aggressive dog toward strangers and backed up by their size.

perfect example would be Lou dog, the pet of Sublime's bradley nowell was infamously vicious. They would bring him on stage during their sets and let him lounge around. he had a reputation for attacking the stage jumpers so often they were actually told to leave warped tour.

I think it's a mix of pretending the person is serious for the sake of making fun of them combined with being incredibly jaded from witnessing so many completely retarded people act utterly retarded on the internet, that you know that yes, some people are actually serious when they say something completely retarded.

I think our boy Null has lost the endless optimism that you still possess that makes you think these people are just joking and couldn't seriously be this dumb. At some point I think you stop giving people the benefit of a doubt and just assume they are being serious, especially in Dick Masterson's case. People have been giving him the benefit of a doubt and assumed he is just a comedian putting on a persona for years until everyone slowly and painfully realized that yes, he really does just hate women and he is probably defending pedophiles a bit too much for it to be "just a joke".

He's also almost 30 so I don't think you can expect him to keep up with all the zoomer memes like "fligu posting" and "sigma grindset". Sorry but zoomers are fucking retards and their sense of humor just sounds like retard shit to anyone out of high school.

Just yesterday I was listening to some old MATI episodes and our old Erver Lord confirmed that he is in fact not autistic, but it was enough of a concern he did get tested.

Spot on. In addition to this, I believe the quote that goes "Any community that gets its laughs by pretending to be idiots will eventually be flooded by actual idiots who mistakenly believe they're in good company." is particularly apt here. Yes, a lot of them are joking, but some of them aren't.

Re: The "does josh get the joke?" question. Obviously he gets the joke. I remember a previous episode featuring some fucking dumb shit and chat was like "HE'S SIGMA" and josh chuckled, starting doing the sigma hypno "you are based" shit.
