well his transition is fairly recent. The guy has been a college level competitive swimmer for three years as a man and only recently was able to compete as a woman since he completed the NCAA requirements of going through HRT for a year.

For some insight on the DIY HRT stuff, it's even more fucking crazy than you think.
One, troons posting their bloodwork isn't exactly uncommon, but in bodybuilding PED circles it's more for advice on certain biomarkers than to prove it's real hormones because that is a retarded way to prove something is legit. That brings me to point two.
Two, unless you get your goods tested, very few people bother if it's a reputable source that others have already tested, you have absolutely no idea what the hell you're getting. I'm not sure about tranny meds, but there's some more exotic steroids that are commonly faked with something less expensive and easier to brew. One thing that I would bet on is that the dosages of underground tranny meds are probably all erver the place. Underdosed, overdosed, just not matching what it says on the label. For example, if you buy a vial of 250mg/ml Testosterone from Johnny Dickhead's Juice Emporium, there's a good chance it's Testosterone because T is cheap and easy to brew but not 250mg/ml because Johnny didn’t measure right or wanted to cut corners.
Three, homebrewing hormone medications is not easy. It's legit science that I do not trust some South American tranny to do and ensure proper dosage, solvents, sterility, cooking time, etc etc. The sterility is a big issue, as you are injecting it into the muscle or below the skin, you can legit get an intramuscular infection and it is not pretty. This is because the skin is the first defense against bacteria and such, but you bypass that when you inject so you got to be very fucking careful. Worst case scenario, you get parts of the infected muscle cut out. I think most trannies use orals, but that goes back to dosage and quality of the product.
And last, and really most important, these kids are fucking with a very delicate balance of hormones with absolutely no idea what they are doing. They are getting advice from Discord and Reddit admins who are pedos and rapists, and also have no idea how endocrinology works at all. Where it gets really fucking weird to me is that side effects that someone using steroids to bodybuild is what trannies think means it's working as intended. Growing cone tits from too much aromatization of test into estrodiol (and some other stuff if you want to get technical) is gynecomastia, but a tranny wants tits so yay. Terrible mood swings means you could have to much progestogen and such, but to troons it's MY PERIOD CAME UWU. Insatiable sex drive and cooming all day means that you can't handle your gear and you need to be careful so you don't fuck up your relationship, for trannies it means "I'm such a femboy slut teehee".

In short, I would rather find a gun and a hit list in my son's room that a box of shit from Otonoko Pharmacy.

I'm pretty sure 4chan has changed a lot, I'll still go on there once in a while and you can still find some alright threads, but it's mostly just porn now. I'm pretty sure there was some kind of coopting of the place like we see with other sites.

The malware thing also pissed me off, because the idea that the average person is responsible for not rising up and overthrowing their government is retarded and won't change just because someone fucked with their computer or McDonalds. The same people cheering for Russians to rise up are also probably cheering that the Qanon shaman is in prison for bumbling around on Jan 6 where the biggest scandal was a podium being stolen.
