Steakhouses in general are ripoffs. Steaks are not difficult to prepare. It's like the easiest dish out there.

The main value steakhouses provide beyond what you can do at home is atmosphere and glitzy presentation; that is, you can impress other people with taking them to a fancy steakhouse. If you fall for that shit yourself, you're a moron.

Also for some reason, steakhouses never salt their meat (far enough) in advance. Save your money, do it yourself.
