JesuOtaku aka Hope/Chapman is a former Channel Awesome contributor (that should be a red flag for you) who dated "Nash" Bozard. During their relationship, Chapman moved into Nash's house and by the end of their relationship owned the house (basically Nash got cucked out of his home). Enter Zac Bertschy. Zac was the Executive Editor for Anime News Network and began a relationship with Chapman while Chapman's relationship with Nash floundered.

It was Zac who helped Chapman get a gig at ANN after Chapman left Channel Awesome. Just a couple of years ago, Chapman transitioned from female to male and became Jacob Chapman, to which Bertschy decided to declare himself bisexual to stay with Chapman. However, their relationship ended last year and Chapman began dating a woman. Fast-forward to yesterday, Bertschy was found dead in his apartment.

Hearing that book mentioned reminds me of /lit/ when it was very slightly less shitty than it is now. Of course when it comes to philolsophy talk I assume most of the shitposters there never actually read any of the books they talked about (myself included).
