Was infamous for some truly gross special effects that still hold up, the cyberpolice stuff is really funny today though. Auto Focus (2002): Bob Crane, a happily married Christian family man descends into life-ruining coomerism after gaining fame and a friendship with a weird pervert. Basically the story of Nick Rekieta. One of Paul Schrader's best.

Truly a legendary episode! This will go down along with the likes of Death & Taxes, No Good Deed Goes Unpunished and From CPAP to Portugal as one of my favorite MATI episodes. Godspeed Josh and godspeed kiwis. Happy 10th anniversary! 🥂

He did tangentially when he referred to Ralph cheating on Nora (1:30:16 of the original YT Stream 2016 segment). However, I'm not sure that there is a known definitive (cheated on Nora) first instance.
 
I mean null had a lot of stuff to go over and maybe it’s because I lived the later half it was far more interesting to hear about the early years. He also didn’t talk about Christchurch, Covid, or Floyd and how they impacted the forum but it didn’t feel necessary for the conversation.

I want the phone call to the father who was asked to turn off the internet because his daughter kept making accounts tho.
