Best bit from the Patrick Tomlinson segment that was missing from today's episode: the unlikely provenance of the audio clip.
  • Someone dug up the info that there had been a police visit at the sty from a site that crawls and archives information from the MKE PD official site (which only shows the past 24 hours of entries IIRC) after checking it because Pat had been mysteriously quiet
  • Pat was replying to texts (as usual) but being cryptic, so nobody knew what had happened
  • Someone thought to check his neighborhood Facebook group and there was a thread about some loud altercation at 1AM. A lady happens to mention that she not only heard it but army-crawled to the window and RECORDED A VOICE MEMO.
  • Someone messaged her and asked nicely for the memo, she obliged, was told that Pat is a competitive eating influencer
Now a few public records requests have been made for documents pertaining the event, including bodycam footage. We'll see if anything comes out of that.

And in defense of the PST thread, a lot of the people shitting it up aren't frequent participants. We are good boys we dindu nuffin.

I have come up with my own Sigma male aphorisms, based on the life experiences of some of the individuals who were featured in this week's Mad at the Internet. It is my hope that the pithy wisdom contained therein will help rudderless young men, who are lacking a strong patriarchal figure in their lives, to be better people, rather than mall shooters or transsexual alpaca farmers.

Technically, the Israeli coin you got is a Lira and not a Shekel. The Shekel was introduced in 1980 and that in turn was replaced in 1986 by the New Israeli Shekel.

What is the phrase? Any group that acts like idiots ironically will attract actual idiots? I'd say the sigma meme turned into unironic idiots.
