I was always taught that 5 minutes early is on time and on time is late. Being late is not an option and an insult.

The Ag Committee in the House is completely bought and paid for by the incredibly powerful corn lobby and that applies to both Republicans and Democrats. Ethanol from corn is a total boondoggle. It isn't even carbon neutral! It's essentially burning food for no reason, and to prop up corn prices, which results in corn being more expensive for people who buy it to eat it, like people south of the border.

It only makes economic sense because corn is massively subsidized. You know what else that brings us? "Cheap" (because its production is paid for by taxpayer dollars) and toxic as fuck high fructose corn syrup.

The only kind of alcohol that should be made from corn is in whiskey.

I'm extremely pro corn lobby. When I'm hungry, I eat corn. When I'm not hungry, I drink corn. I have a 120 pound punching bag filled with heavy corn. Every month I invest 50% of my income into double leveraged corn ETFs. Do you know all the uses of corn? It can be fed to farm animals that aren't supposed to even digest corn, but through the miracle of evolution and melty shits, they manage to not only survive, but THRIVE on food wholey incompatible with their ruminant digestive system. Corn is so incredible that you can actually test someone's DNA and determine how much corn they've eaten. Corn is the only plant that is able to turn pure synthetic fertilizer into energy over and over and over again without having to rotate the soil. Just keep adding more fertilizer and it soaks it up like nothing else. Corn is also great because not only is it good, it's also great. You can always process raw corn to make it more valuable. You can process the processed corn to make it more valuable. If you ever want an infinite money glitch, you just keep processing the corn over and over again until you get those hipster cereals that make you shit like those farm animals that eat corn.

Not just in america. And it seems to go along with an increasing amount of people being unable or unwilling to do their job properly. The amount of inconvenience and wasted time caused by entirely avoidable mistakes is getting ridiculous. Can't rely on people getting the most simple shit right anymore.

As a sperg that obsesses about being punctual, this causes me endless mental anguish. Even for Church, most people show up half an hour late. Only staring at your phone is a clearer sign that your priorities are elsewhere.
