The Youtube stream says 'Waiting for Mad at the Internet' when it's actually supposed to be in 5 hours. Almost 500 people waiting lol.

PPP and I will probably bump up to twice a month in March by the earliest. People seem to like it. Part of what makes it work for us imo is that we can pick a time at any time and pre-rec and then start streaming after a bit of a catchup. I'm not eager to change the system yet or make it a competitor to our own shows.

Does anyone have the clip of Jersh explaining what fascism actually means? I'm tired of trying to explain it to my retarded acquaintances.
If they're people who think that any western nation has anything close to fascism then nothing you do will convince them from their definition, which is any use of executive authority that they do not like. Besides that, like socialism, fascism doesn't really have a particularly concrete and established form since like socialism (which fascism sprang out of due to disgruntled communists, there's a pretty well known jail photo of Mussolini in his younger years looking and acting like a Breadtuber phenotype) it is a relatively young ideology and the few nations and leaders who engaged in it didn't do it in exactly the same way.

Remember, boys, if you go bald it's not over yet.

When you ask a person who's blathering on about fascism what they actually think fascism is, they'd probably resort to saying it's anything with a dictator at the top, or what they'd consider a dictator. That's the extent of their understanding.

If you want to explain fascism as it was defined by the people who came up with and practiced it, you may as well read what they wrote. The Doctrine of Fascism and is not a long read, and the general thrust of it is that the State and National Cause above all other concerns.

Anti-individualistic, the Fascist conception of life stresses the importance of the State and accepts the individual only in so far as his interests coincide with those of the State, which stands for the conscience and the universal, will of man as a historic entity. It is opposed to classical liberalism which arose as a reaction to absolutism and exhausted its historical function when the State became the expression of the conscience and will of the people. Liberalism denied the State in the name of the individual; Fascism reasserts the rights of the State as expressing the real essence of the individual. And if liberty is to be the attribute of living men and not of abstract dummies invented by individualistic liberalism, then Fascism stands for liberty, and for the only liberty worth having, the liberty of the State and of the individual within the State. The Fascist conception of the State is all embracing; outside of it no human or spiritual values can exist, much less have value. Thus understood, Fascism, is totalitarian, and the Fascist State — a synthesis and a unit inclusive of all values —interprets, develops, and potentates the whole life of a people. No individuals or groups (political parties, cultural associations, economic unions, social classes) outside the State.

One might argue whether blockhead's goals were actually achieved by the state he formed, but when commies argue about "true socialism never being tried" they're sure as hell not describing a state that ever actually existed so anything but the word of the doctrine is irrelevant in defining the ideology itself, save for pointing out inconsistences when it comes to actually practicing what is demanded that result in the typical flaws of totalitarian systems, such as corruption and paranoia being rampant.

TL;DR Read from the source, and do the same with communists. It's not an airborne fungus that'll turn you away from your beliefs just by touching them.

It strikes me as the sort of thing that is only as good as it is because of how infrequent it is
I think it is the opposite. There are literally zero good podcasts out there worthy of peoples time to watch.
Strike while the iron is hot. If donations dry up turn it into a bi-weekly or monthly show then.
Now we finally have two people that are well spoken and well informed on varying subjects giving concise takes. PPP being Mr Atlas to Josh was brilliant.
And to top it all off, we need a show for the beginning of the week.
Having a podcast to listen to on Friday or Saturday isn't half as good as having something to listen to Monday-Thursday.

So Tom's been trying to recreate the feeling of the first relationship he found meaningful. That girl really one-shot him
I was thinking of that, the Hello-Kitty Core is endemic in both ageplayers and schizochicks (See Sillypoo) and it's possible she literally fried his brain.
