Can someone point out to me where in one of the latest MATI episodes that Josh talks about The Mist?
Don't have a timestamp as I'm at work, but it was last week when he was talking about the Walking Dead, which led to him talking about Frank Darabont, which led to him talking about how much he hated the ending of The Mist.

Unfortunately, Victorinox is a Swiss company, so he wouldn't buy it out of principle. Even though Victorinox is one Swiss brand that's 100% worth the price and unlike Rolex, aren't trying to scam you on the whole "Swiss Made" gimmick. You get exactly what you pay for, and what you get is a fantastic and reliable tool. Also lifetime warranty, something's fucked, send it to them and they'll fix it.
Don't worry about Josh. He only "hates" the Swiss because he had an unpleasant experience with a single guy at the airport that one time. That of course means that the whole country is awful.

The pages of the new US Passport book are wonderful works of art, has anyone else seen it?

Thank you. I wanted this before I asked was the general opinion that the ending for The Mist sucked actually common? I've only seen it like once, and outside of a few >reddit threads I only see people sucking the ending cock and praising it.
I thought it was pretty poignant and a sort of fable ending.

Though I would never think any less of someone for not liking it. If you don't give it more meaning yourself it just feels retarded.
Steven King's works are the sort of case where the movie adaptations are better than the books, Sad!
Probably because the movie writers have the sense to not spoonfeed the viewer every single detail explicity and actually leave stuff for the viewer to think about.

I was denied entry to Schengen during COVID for something important. They also lied to me the entire time about talking to someone until I was led onto a plane. They have the worst accents and their women all dress like dykes. People continuously pretend Switzerland is a free country because guns but in their country homophobia is a crime. They do not deserve their reputation.

When I went to Hawaii everyone was cool, I wandered around to all the off track places you "weren't supposed to go" and it still felt pretty friendly (I was also like a foot taller than every island hobbit I saw). The native proud types are even assholes to the other Islanders, nobody likes them.

The place is transparently fake, but it's not all the stuff people are talking about. Getting mad the Hawaiians aren't t that different from fijians is like saying Belgium isn't real. IRL the place is just a giant military base and the local population and tourism is all just there to make the military posting convenient/desirable.

Belgium isn't real
It's not.

If the natives ever want my tourism money they can beat the other dipshits harassing whitey with a stick until they stop. All I've ever heard from Hawaiians is that I'm not welcome, they hate me, they want me dead. Literally the only reason they have statehood is Pearl Harbor.

Is there any way to actually profit off of jeets or are they just a siphon
You make money off jeets at the cost of your soul, but it'd be funny if you sold binaural beats to conjure visas, conjure white women, or turn them Caucasian but it's just you going "jeet! Jeet! Jeet! Jeet!" on the left track and "Saar? Saar? Saar?" on the other.

People continuously pretend Switzerland is a free country
Stop browsing nu-/pol and reddit. Most Europeans (under the age of 30 at least) know damn well that any German speaking country have the most retarded "hate speech" laws, fucking jailtime for questioning the holohoax.

Vagene and bob.

I'm sure those Chinese firms that make uncanny valley sex dolls sell em in India.

Also as basically slave labor like in places like Qatar or Dubai where they bring em, confiscate their passports, and keep them relegated to ghettos till they send them back.

I mostly know Switzerland as the most beautiful country in the world, I don't know anything about their politics. How long were you there? Wasn't it just a few hours at the airport?

On the topic of spending if Anisa and Ian sold their house today they Ian will have lost $195k on the investment. It would have been cheaper for them to rent for up to $5k/month rather than buy and renovate. According to Zillow Ian/Anisa spent
$95K in recent upgrades including Hardy Plank siding, exterior paint, A/C, & water heater!
Thanks to Google Maps we can see the outside of the house on April 2019

The upgrades happening in October 2024

Now HVAC and a water heater was also mentioned in the listing. Thanks to Reddit we now know what that looks like.

The brave home owners decided it was not worth paying someone to make a wall to hide these features let alone pay to get the moldy insulation removed. So what value did this $95k investment add to the home? A big fat nothing. Let's look at how this venture compared to having rented. In the 39 months (March 2023 to June 2025) they owned this home it has resulted in at least a $195k loss ($95k renovations, $50k price dorp, and $50k realtor's fees [5% sale price]). So $195k/39 months would give them a max rent of $5k/month. For $5k a month in their area of Seattle they could live in any condition be it apartment, house, furnished, old, new, ext. For example this new home only blocks away from Ian is available for $4.7k/month.

*Interesting notes: King County Washington values the 0.06 acres the home sits on at $321k or $5,350,000 an acre. In King County there is a Home Improvement Tax Exemption. Where if approved up to 30% of the value of the improvement can be returned as a property tax credit for three years. The prior homeowners did this and for some reason Ian and Anisa choose not to thus loosing out on up to $31,667 in credit on property tax which is currently ~$6.8k/year. Also Ian and Anisa failed to file permits for their renovation. Always make sure to thank your local county department of assessments for making all of this information public.
