Individually, yes, but Jason Hall is just the godhead of the current state of software designers.

We’ve all noticed it since we were kids. We played Halo CE and TF2 on cracked copies on the school shared drive and slept walked into a world where games seem to be getting worse, sloppier, more fragile. We all kept saying “What would John Romero do” and replaying Half Life 2.

And then here comes a second generation game dev, and he smugly chuckles at a request for the utter basic. “I want my game to run”.

I watched a guy on reddit once get fucking lynched for saying 250 instances of something shouldn’t be a problem on modern hardware. StarCraft did it in like 1996 after all. Every response was “as a game developer” and then a statement of very basic issues that StarCraft had to deal with as well.

Well, the sleeping majority finally woke up. Suddenly it became very obvious that the most vocal software developer is fucking retarded and proud of it and he’s not alone. And there’s nothing left to do but rip them apart limb by limb and pray the damage can be reversed.

No one seems to say this, but its unnecessary wear on your gun's critical moving parts and wears on the firing pin having to dry fire it later. A lot of people don't seem to care these days though. Get a metal airsoft replica if you want to obsessively rack & dry fire them tbh, you can build & satisfy your muscle memory without a misf-HOLD ON JOSH, SHOUT OUT TO DILDO LICKER FOR THE 10 GIFTED SUBS, A-LOG.ANDY FOR 5 SUBS, LET'S GOOOOOOOO WE HIT THE GOAL ALREADY YEAHHHHH BUDDY

As for OpenStreetMap... yeah, it's not great for real-time navigation, but great for general map stuff. I remember good 10 or so years ago, before using GPS navigation became the norm over here, I'd take screenshots of OSM, stitch them together and use it as an offline map to learn my route - in hindsight it was a horrendous way to do it, but at least it's good for giving your internal compass an exercise. I did switch to Waze eventually when I was doing a cross-country trip and OsmAnd decided that the best way to get to my destination was by me taking forestry roads that I could barely pass through.

Its gotten better over the years at least. Maybe I should check out Waze again. I haven't even looked at it since the aquisition.

That would make sense, if you used the gun enough for wear to be a problem. If you're not going to the range every other day, I don't think this would be a problem.
 
I missed it, but Chuck Mangione wasn't the second KOTH character death. In recent terms he is the third. Johnny Hardwick, Dales voice actor, died just last year too I think.

I may be late with this comment. But I just realized it.

They no longer do the Pac-Man dot-eating thing on streets because everything is so thoroughly mapped, but the World of Warcraft voices for navigation are funny & the police speed trap detection is TOP NOTCH.

Brittany Murphy died in like 2009, voice actress for Luanne, but yeah John Redcorn and Dale both dead, too. That new show looks like absolute fucking dogshit, btw, if you've not seen any of the promotional material for it.

Caught part of the kino latrino stream (they seem like very funny guys, I just can't take all the stuff that's basically jingling digital keys in my face like I'm a retard), very funny stuff, gator's graduation to unemployment brings a tear to the eye :(

All MATI streams are directly injected into your brain after staring at the Kiwifarms like some kind of cognito hazard, they dont exist on the internet or anywhere at all really, they are a collective allucination that plays in your head as you stare blankly to a 404 page on youtube.
 
It was a pretty fun stream. I think if Josh had done it as a person stream it would have been around 2 hours. It would have been nice if Josh had managed to corral them into 3-4 hours for this stream.

But with gems like this, it was never a possibility:
Josh: "Here's a 5 minute clip, play it straight through and I'm going to get some water."
Josh returns, they've made it 5 seconds into the clip and paused it 3 times.

That was one problem I had, they didn't let anything breathe, there were times when they'd play a half second and then respond and I'd have absolutely no idea what just happened that they were responding to. Maybe because I wasn't 125% focused on the stream so I hadn't brain switched to "oh, clip, I should watch" before they responded.
