I reckon most people don't have voice changers set up for streaming or have any kind of soundboard setup (aside from Tardski). The ease of access is just OBS and using and iPhone to track for the model. That's literally what Hololive does, they just give talents a computer and iPhone. The fan base also tends to be rather schizo and actively try to sniff out any history dedicated to being a man. Because it has happened before where Vtubers using TTS were outed as Men, and Voice Changers are pretty easy to detect if you listen closely.
