Found something new in the AGPcore side of things, Kidd Bandit decided to butcher Feel Good Inc. while stoned as shit at some Karaoke event.

Some tranny had also apparently shouted him out at GDQ because they were playing a wrestling video game, one that was particularly shitty I might add, so naturally Joey's ego got inflated.

Thought this particular tweet though was funny as shit.

In regards to your question about finding a TV that isn't constantly blasting good goy ads: no, you can't. Literally every TV now has bloated "Smart TV" OSes running off a potato. Best you can really do to avoid it is buy a cheap monitor or one of those commercial displays and build your own Smart TV box. For reference, Pi 5's can boot off of an NVMe, have actual 4k codec support (at least for h265), have plenty of support for media players like Kodi and has specialty hardware like cases with IR remote receivers and USB tuner adapters for TV antennas.

Rather than buying a huge-ass monitor, wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a TV of the same size and never let it connect to the Internet? I wouldn't be surprised if TV manufacturers subsidize the price by all the bloat and ads they include on the machine, but if you never connect to the Web you're basically outplaying the system. Better yet, you could do something like let it connect to your router's Intranet over Wi-Fi (but not the Internet) so you could use something like Miracast to mirror your PC monitor to the TV without using any cables.

I'm not familiar with the market, but you probably need to activite these things with the Internet, and they come with DRM, so you really should just look for a large gaming monitor (or decide that 13 inch screens were good enough for your father, and they'll be good enough for you)

I agree it is far cheaper, especially if you're going for a larger TV. But they will not support the frame rate of a monitor and will also have HDCP/ different EDIDs which can cause headaches when connecting a variety of devices. A lot of the casting stuff doesn't work without internet, again due to HDCP.

Or buy an older TV at an estate sale.

No clue how tomorrows stream can possibly compete unless null gets some trannies to pound on his trailer door and break in unless he gets enough super chats to pay them off or something.

I couldn't even imagine being a streamer with PPP and Bossmanjack as my competition. Like swimming against dolphins. They live this shit man.

For purely inputting video from a wired device, you could get away with this. Depends on the TV though since a lot of them now have the "Smart TV" as the default input when you turn it on with no easy way to change it. Also like other people are saying, things like casting wouldn't work without connecting to WiFi. If you want the features of a smart TV without the goyslop bloat, you have to build it yourself.

This is definitely the best option. At least the most robust. You can also probably do a lot more with this option than a normal smart TV also.

I have a feeling you will probably get served adds no matter what on a smart TV even if it isn't connected to the Internet.

I haven’t had an actual TV for more than 10 years, I just use a cheap HD projector and a Roku stick for Netflix and a pi with kodi. Oh and an old Xbox in case I ever want to watch a DVD lol.

Projectors do not yet have any smart shit in them, it’s just a couple of HDMI sockets.

I have a projector too but built a tiny media pc for the downstairs to go with it. It can run emulators and access russian pirate sites and that's all I need it do to.
