Remember how Louis Theroux once interviewed the America First mongoloids and then Null made fun of them on MATI? One of the points he made was that if someone like Theroux accuses you of being a bad word (e.g, a white nationalist, racist, etc) and you really are that bad word, you shouldn't just recoil and try to deflect like Fuentes did: it just debases you and makes you look weak, and they'll end up calling you that bad word anyways because that's what the science says you are. Instead, you should ask them do define the word and provide your own definition if you find it disagreeable, allowing you to carry on the interview on your own terms.

Theroux recently published a documentary about the Israeli settler movement and this is exactly what the interviewees do. Zero apologetics, no oy-vey handwringing, just pure "g_d promised us this land so it's ours now lmao".

Does anyone have a link to the evidence linking Ali Alexander/Akbar to him running the AF Post Twitter account?

I'm in a VC & this one guy refuses to believe that Ali runs that account.

If someone could show it to me, that would be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

w/r/t Canada:
For those of you confused about what happened in Canada yesterday, let me put it like this… These were the two options Canadians got to choose from:A guy who wants infinity Indians so boomers can keep their property values up, or a guy who wants infinity Indians so corporations have a steady flow of compliant slaves and never have to hire actual Canadians.Boomers went with the obvious best choice for them, consumed by greed and self-indulgence to the point that they will giddily sell out their own grandkids for an extra few Florida vacations before they hit the dirt.Indians were getting plenty of glazing from both sides but voted for the party they always do - the one that that historically lets them mass import other Indians with (greater) ease. For actual, normal Canadians of no particular ideological sway, both sides were effectively identical on the issue that impacted the country the most and they knew no change was imminent on that front... so their choice boiled down to convenience. One side promised to let them keep what measly few benefits they get that make their lives a bit easier, such as affordable child care, while the other side is known for almost always cutting those benefits. So is it any surprise that they then made a calculation and decided "if I am going to lose my house and job to Akshit and Rajinder no matter who gets in, mind as well vote for the party that will at least give me welfare after I do” ?There is no shock or mystery here. Anyone who didn't see this result coming is a retard (pejorative). The sad part is, this is the way it will be forever. The unholy alliance of boomers and Indians have made it so that both of the main parties in Canada MUST cater to these groups or else they will simply never be voted in. By the time the boomers have all croaked, the Indians will have replaced them as the core voting block.Canada is a cautionary tale. There IS, in fact, a point of no return, and it does not take long to get there.Don't get there.

No better advice exists than "be yourself" because as much as bitter people try to deconstruct why they can't get a girlfriend any kind of act or game or ruse is unsustainable in the long term. Getting the 50th number or 100th lay will never fill the empty void of insecurity in these guys souls.
But what about advice to stop being a stupid asshole and change and be that self instead?

There was a huge ostensibly anti-immigration protest in Dublin, Ireland recently on the 26th for the anniversary of the 1916 Rising which galvanised nationalist fervor into the later wars of independence and treaty civil war. A few 100k people in attendance AT LEAST which the identitarian/nationalist party "National Party" being quite prominent throughout with speeches being read out along with Malachy Steenson (on old-head Irish republican socialist who's entered politics again with his position in the Dublin county administration) who's been close in talking with McGregor over his own forays into politicking, the new mayoral election of Dublin City itself is a wholly new government project and they've closed their election plans for it with the possibility of him entering that race if McGregor fails to get Irish politicians to sponsor his Presidential bid. The funny thing about this for the stream I want to highlight is that a counter-protest emplaced upon the General Post Office (where the Rising started mind you with eventual British warships and artillery chasing militants into a running gun battle across the streets!) was smaller and stereotypical gay and full-throated defence for gay race Globohomo sang Óró, sé do bheatha abhaile - an Irish rebel song that was revised by Padraig Pearse the leader of the Rising himself that centered around being anti-foreigner, militant, uber-chud if you will. The only explanation I have is that the shitlibs counter-protesting have no actual idea of the substance of the Irish lyrics and their literal meaning lol.

English translation for song:
Welcome oh woman who was so afflicted,
It was our ruin that you were in bondage,
Our fine land in the possession of thieves...
And you sold to the foreigners!

Chorus

Gráinne O'Malley is coming over the sea,
Armed warriors along with her as her guard,
They are Gaels, not invaders [British] nor Spanish...
And they will rout the foreigners!

Chorus

May it please the King of Miracles that we might see,
Although we may live for a week once after,
Gráinne O'Malley and a thousand warriors...
Dispersing the foreigners!

If you feel the need to stop being an asshole to be liked then you're not actually an asshole, you're just using it as some fucked up defense mechanism or you're in a bad life state. The asshole gambit is as much of an act as PUA tactics are because it accomplishes the same goal of not having to be vulnerable and open with other people.

People who are actually irredeemable assholes have warped swiss cheese brains and convince themselves they're doing nothing wrong. Then they end up with a thread or in jail.

To keep this vaguely on-topic I remember Josh talking about the ego up to pity party pipeline thing guys like Wings and Blowblax do. Wings is the perfect example of how being an asshole without true conviction will ruin your life.
Dude tried to throw his weight around (that's a lot of weight too) too many times and the facade slipped, showing everyone that he's a shell of a man and destroying the Wings illusion forever.
Josh also mentioned Boogie and I think Boogie is a great example of the inverse where being a people pleaser out of fear of abandonment is equally harmful and why """nice""" guys never get any.

TL;DR if you're not being who you want to be people are gonna see that and that's when you get no gf

So the fighter/rapist is going to be Ireland's Trump? I have to assume he's being propped up in a very jewy, controlled oppo way just like Trump as well.
I'm so sick of everything being kiked to hell and back.

fighter/rapist is going to be Ireland's Trump?
I honestly don't think so. The President of Ireland is a figurehead position with no actual power beyond diplomacy and ceremonial actions that the parliament and senate chart course. The McGregor support by Tucker/Trump seem more for the Irish-Americans than anyone else. The Irish in America have always been democrat and quite influential along the east coast so having a former fighter of an American combat sport cause a ruckus in the "old country" appeals more to Irish-Americans. The President of Ireland has a big cultural cachet to massage diplomacy and the arts but that doesn't effect any policy of great replacement that McGregor is very publicly against, he'll be impotent to gainsay any actual gov policy if he actually got the presidency.

This protest was principally organised by the National Party Gaelic identitarians and nascent "far-right" independents with old-school republican socialists than anyone else really. McGregor looks to be a potential connection for sympathetic funding and organising from Irish diaspora (a very long-standing tradition with Irish nationalism tbh). Every Irish professional at least in the medical field agitates to be allowed to practice again in Ireland itself to end the current status quo of hiring freezes and end of visa scab labour.

Aight I’m interrupting the lonely Jack’s cry-wank to ask

Does anyone know what the fuck happened to the Spanish power grid? It sounds like they had no VAC and the solar grids never installed any alternators so they overwhelmed their handful of spinny bits and lost their frequency

Like the people in charge of the power grid are not doing shit that was drilled into us in undergraduate electrical.

The grid is EVROPA is shared among the EU countries. One of the culprits might be Germoney having a melty and drawing more power from their neighbors and causing unintended consequences.

Lazerpig's video is amusing because Europeans aren't going to do anything, and Europe re-arming is a central factual contention. They just think if they shout America will help Ukraine anyway. Also why would Russia want America to become Nazis? That’s not something the slavic world would want. Online Russian and Slavic right wingers who have some connection to the various influential New Right figureheads hate the wehrabooism of that crowd.

Also found this looking up Lazerpig. Tank reddit hates him. And says he’s only popular because he gives the piggies their anti-russia slop. https://www.reddit.com/r/TankPorn/comments/1ckmyhi/what_wrong_with_lazerpig/?rdt=46537

The I, Hypocrite thing is sad but unsurprising. Arguably it's actually good that incel politics and brown anti-semitism (same audience) are being ghettoized at once. Basically if you're a minority low performer you will like Hypocrite and Fuentes. They will satisfy your fulmination against more successful people and your coveting of their women.

someone must got rejected from the voting group
Oscar voters may actually have to do their homework.

That’s because the Academy has implemented a new rule requiring members to watch every film in a category (in order to vote) — and to fill out forms verifying when and where they viewed it.

The mandate might as well be called “the ‘Brutalist’ Rule,” a nod to Brady Corbet’s 215-minute epic that stands as Exhibit A for what the Academy hopes to fix. The A24 film earned 10 nominations and three wins this past season — even as some voters privately admitted they never pressed play or finished it. Or worse, it simply played in the background while they answered emails and rolled calls.
“This was overdue,” one producer tells Variety. “Over-fucking-due!” But while the goal is to create a more equitable system — where smaller gems don’t get lost amid noisier, well-funded campaigns — some within the Academy question whether the mandate will lead to better-informed choices or simply encourage new ways of gaming the system.

Academy sources say the reception from members has been overwhelmingly positive and that many had requested the change for years.

Historically, watching every nominated title was recommended, not required. Members often leaned on buzz, publicists, friends and family to fill in the gaps. One executive from the Academy’s Marketing Branch recalls times in the 1980s and ’90s when their boss handed over a blank Oscar ballot and said: “You’ve seen more than me. Fill this out.”

It wasn’t uncommon. Ballots were mailed and sometimes completed by assistants or even voters’ adult children. “He had never even heard of half the movies, but he voted anyway,” one executive says, recalling observing studio heads during Hollywood’s golden age.

The analog era — along with DVD mailers — faded with the 2020 introduction of the Academy Screening Room, an online portal featuring tight security and two-factor authentication. The digital transition closed off some legacy loopholes like password sharing — but not all.

Today, some members, particularly in the Executive and Marketing and PR branches, simply press play on the Academy app to satisfy the system’s viewing requirement — then mute the audio or switch tabs. “The app only needs to see that you watched it,” says one voter. “It doesn’t know if you’re sitting there.”

Another member admits they hit play before leaving the house to go to work.

Votes, many acknowledge, are often driven by professional allegiance. “You think I’m voting against my own campaign?” laughs one executive. “I’m voting for my stuff.”

Methods designed to get voters to engage aren’t new. The Academy already implemented a similar measure for international feature voting, requiring members to view a designated group of about a dozen films during the nomination phase. That system has its own loopholes — from speed-watching films at 1.5x to pressing play before heading to the gym.

There’s no penalty for pledging on the online form that you watched a title — even if you didn’t. It operates on the honor system, and the Academy will not verify members’ information. Members don’t seem overly concerned with the additional “paperwork,” but some strategists worry that forgetful voters might fall behind on off-platform viewing. “Do you keep up with your Letterboxd?” one strategist points out.

The new rule also aims to prevent a single film from dominating the ceremony.

Between 2009 and 2021, the most awarded best picture winner was Kathryn Bigelow’s 2008 war movie “The Hurt Locker,” with six statuettes. Every other top winner took four Oscars or fewer, reflecting members’ inclination to “spread the wealth.” But recently, distribution has been skewed: The 2022 action comedy “Everything Everywhere All at Once” and Christopher Nolan’s 2023 biopic “Oppenheimer” both landed seven Oscars, while last year’s indie winner “Anora” took five of its six categories.

Ironically, movies with a sole nomination might now have a better chance of winning their category (provided they earn prizes from other awards groups in the lead-up to voting). Because members must view all the nominees in a category before they can vote in it, a voting branch’s own members could play a decisive role.

Take “Maria,” which last year was only nominated for cinematography and likely was not widely viewed outside the Cinematographers Branch, given that members of other branches prioritize the major races. Meanwhile, eventual winner “The Brutalist,” which based on reporting wasn’t as widely seen, likely benefited from greater visibility and an aura of prestige. Yet, had the new rule been in place, “Maria” — which won the cinematographer guild’s top prize — could have been a viable challenger since the number of eligible voters would have dipped.

Indeed, studios may be motivated to encourage members to watch all the nominated films in a category — including those from competing studios — especially if they sense a rival title’s broader popularity among other branches. It underscores that now more than ever, every vote counts.

Some prominent Academy voters believe gaming the system represents a tiny minority of the membership.

“I’m not cynical enough to think people weren’t watching,” says Scott Shooman, head of AMC Networks Film Group. “I go to Cannes, Telluride, Toronto and Sundance. Then the Academy app lights up, and I know what to watch. I don’t know how others keep up. But it is our responsibility, and the fact they had to put it on paper is a little bit eye-opening.”

With the debut of an Oscar for casting, recognition of stunts forthcoming and a promising slate of films ahead, the Academy hopes the mandate will preserve the integrity of its nearly 100-year-old organization.

One Executive Branch member offers a blunter take: “The whole system’s based on trust. And trust in Hollywood? Bullshit.”
