MUTTS is a relic of an era, now gone. It's supernaturally bland because that's what it's now gone market wanted, it's lack of a punchline is its selling point, for any syndicated comic maker they have to tell roughly 350 jokes a year so odds are some of them are going to offend the insane sensibilities of someone, but MUTTS doesn't have that risk. When you saw a MUTTS comic in someone's area or a break area you would know there is someone around whose sensibilities are so very ridiculous that ANY joke would result in a hr visit, like going to a gas store and seeing a loose cigarette pack let's you know it's not safe.

My comment was about the speech impediment of the cat. It's my only reference point besides Josh doing a weird voice in which he has the identical affectation. MUTTS is never funny in the same way PEANUTS, Nancy, Family Circle, &c. are never funny. So what?
Josh, since you said you didn't know what that means, TelvanniMage's super chat was about one of the petitions to allow famous pedorapist/director, Roman Polanski, to grace the shores of these United States without being incarcerated since he fled prosecution in the 1970s. Lots of famous Hollywood assholes signed more than one of these petitions. Just wanted to comment on the Ralph going to rehab thing.

He could actually get sober. In my experience, for people with real addiction issues to actually get sober, they need to lose everything. Because it takes breaking the delusional thinking that comes with addiction. This is basically what the "spiritual experience" is in A.A. it's a shift in the way you think about life. So Ralph finally loosing Dax, could maybe finally be what it took.

I'm not saying he will. I'm just saying it would make sense to me if he does actually do it at this point. Obviously the alternative is like you said, him dying, likely soon. But just looking at the circumstances, it seems like if it was ever going to happen, this would be the point where he finally changes.

As a follow-up to this, Polanski fled to France where he has lived to this day, France not extraditing this child rapist is yet another reason to hate the French.

ETA: I'll just copy-paste Wikipedia for Roman's own thoughts on the matter:
In 1979, Polanski gave a controversial interview with novelist Martin Amis in which, discussing the case, he said "If I had killed somebody, it wouldn't have had so much appeal to the press, you see? But ... fucking, you see, and the young girls. Judges want to fuck young girls. Juries want to fuck young girls. Everyone wants to fuck young girls!" In 1983, Polanski told journalist Clive James that "I like the girls of that age. And because the girls of that age, for some reason like me." Later in this interview James asked, "Granted that you have this interest in young girls, and have never concealed that you have this interest in young girls, wasn't an incident like the one that happened more or less bound to happen eventually?" and Polanski responded, "Looking back at it, it probably was bound to happen, yes."

Funny you mention Elden Ring right before talking about Elon paying for account recovery for PoE2 because it reminded me of this.

For context, it looks like he's trying to run a magic spellcaster build.
  • Aside from dumping into Int, his stats are not optimized for magic.
  • Mind should be much higher because that determines how big your FP (mana) bar is.
  • Dex and Str shouldn't be that high. Those are melee stats.
  • Even if you want to main Int for Int spells, you should have more than single digits in Fai and Arc because many Int spells still require those as secondary stats.
  • He's running with a heavy equip load. Magic characters should be nimble, able to evade danger and build space to cast offensive spells or buff up.
  • He only has 5 memory slots, meaning he can only have up to 5 spells on him at any given time. (Maximum of slots you can run is 12)
  • He's running a rapier (thrusting sword) and a basic katana that doesn't even have a magic enchant a magic katana that secondary scales with Int. (Literally the only katana he could run with his build and was one of the OP weapons shitters used at the time he posted this) Thrusting swords and katanas are Dex weapons. There are swords in the game specifically made for magic users that want a backup plan if they can't cast and is all he should be running for melee.
  • He has two shields. Two shields in the same item row. Magic builds should avoid damage with evasion or spells, not shields. Shields are for melee builds.
  • His helmet is a magic helmet, the the rest of his armor set is meant for Str builds. It's literally the armor you unlock for killing the posterchild Str boss.
  • His talismans are not optimized for magic builds. The first one on the row (The flaming eyeball) increases all the stats that DON'T affect spells, when there's a related talisman that does just that.
  • His spirit summons aren't bad but there are much better options, especially for magic builds.
  • Running literally no consumables that would temporarily buff him aside from his physick flask (Something you unlock in the first couple hours of playing). Those darts are an essential for magic users though so at least he has those.

  • This nigga isn't just just fatrolling, I ran his stats through a build creator and he's at almost 100% equip.
  • He's using Lusat's staff which is a notoriously demanding casting tool due to casts consuming a whopping 50% additional mana.
  • He isn't even using mega damage spells that take advantage of his high as fuck int. I think he's using great glintstone shard, night shard and night comet, glintstone nail, and either freezing mist or zamor ice storm. None of these are in any way good candidates for using Lusat's.
  • Twinsage glintstone crown is quite literally one of the worst pieces of mage headgear to use when at already relatively high int.
  • Scarseal and soreseal talismans are stat sticks best used on low level builds to hit gear requirements. This monkey is using it to hit the requirements for moonveil (admittedly, one of the best int weapons in the game) on a level 111 build.
  • He's not even equipping the staff in one of the left hand slots so he could at least cast with a weapon out.

Where does the figure come from about 15% of every dollar going to the IRS? In 2023, the US government collected about about 4 trillion dollars in taxes and the IRS had expenditures of about 16.1 billion, unless I'm reading their data book incorrectly.
