“I don’t trust the government to kill people” always sounds wise until you realize that the government could literally blacksite you and shove lasagna up your ass (this happened at Gitmo) if they wanted too, as things are, right now. In about 3 hours, depending on where you live.

It sort of ignores the argument of “cruel and unusual punishment this issue should revolve around instead of fear mongering around power the US government has had since its inception, still has, and will employ whenever and wherever it pleases, whether or not you posted Sneed on /TV
