When you do eat, eat protein. as much as you can without going over your caloric deficit. If it's mostly meat, about .5-.7 grams per pound of lean body weight. I switched to coffee because it's easier on your body but I can't drink it black because coffee is a putrid taste. I add milk, and a lot of it.

so that's at least a cup of milk, 120~150 calories. if I drink 3 cups of coffee a day (EASY) that's like eating an extra beef burrito from taco bell every day.
I've thought about either investing money and time into getting a coffee brewing station that *might* make such a deluxe level of coffee I can acquire a taste for it, but that's a lot of money, a lot of counter space, a lot of shit to haul around when I move again, and it might not even work. It's also a maintenance level that something like instant coffee, a kuerig, or drip coffee just doesn't require of you.
My other options are tea, water+caffeine pills, or to try and quit caffeine.
Tea is an appreciable option I've done before but I lost my equipment in a move so I stopped. I've never tried caffeine pills (something about taking pills is weird to me), but I will try it.
Quitting is an option a lot of people have suggested but I've never been able to. Ever. Not having caffeine makes me feel like I'm half asleep and my brain is one of those pin coushins just staked through a thousand times hindering focus.
