Anyway @Null I have some juicy drama from the GNOME foundation for the next stream. Sonny Piers, member of the Board of Directors for GNOME was recently found out to have been banned from GNOME for over 2 months for a CODE OF CONDUCT janny breach. Includes their own Director of the Board acting like a smug janny in their forum threads and the Director of the GNOME Foundation forced to make a statement, this was just after they were found to be near bankrupt btw.

The GNOME Foundation Board voted to remove Sonny Piers as a member of the Board of Directors for cause, at a Special Meeting on May 17th, 2024, following the procedure outlined in the GNOME Bylaws, and remove him from all committees. Effective May 25th, 2024, his seat is now vacant, and in accordance with the Bylaws will be filled for the remainder of its term by an appointment made by the Board.A Code of Conduct complaint was also made against Sonny Piers. The Foundation is engaged in a mediation process with him, which is still ongoing and so we are unable to share more information at this time.

Isn’t the olympics super penisy about licensing broadcasting rights. They only give a handful of pre-negotiated broadcasters per country rights and even then there’s a strict limit on how long they can host a non highlight vod.

Yep. It's a dumb thing for people to try to split hairs over anyways. Even if it doesn't fit their specific internal dictionary's definition of "revenge pornography," who gives a shit?
