The state prosecution (Joel Seidemann and co.) have requested that the state trial begin on July 1st, 2026. We will also find out tomorrow if Luigi's federal case will be death eligible. Jury selection in the federal case will start in September with the federal trial beginning in either October or January 2027.

I even noticed a dip starting in the spring of last year in terms of media attention and activity here on KF, though the lolcow threads were still going strong. Now the Happenings thread is dead, the lolcow threads are gone forever and this one seems to be running dry too. It's sad, Luigi's cowdom was an Internet highlight of my year, and the early lolcow threads were the most fun I've had sperging over a moid in years. I think if the lc threads were still around there would be more activity, especially around the time of the ex-girlfriend reveal.

I imagine things will be very quiet until the trial; there's likely not going to be new lore, Luigi's looks will continue to degrade and we're probably not going to get any new Letter gates. I stand by my opinion that if we had handsome moids in hollywood (actors or musicians) he wouldn't have gotten this much attention besides the usual hybristophiles and some average people admitting he was kinda cute.
Everyone of average intelligence or more knows he is guilty and will be in jail forever.
The BP demons are also just exhausting to deal with, wherever they appear.
