I see what you mean, but to me these efforts to delineate people's behaviors seem more manipulative than they do compulsive. It's my understanding that obsessive compulsive people usually have rules for themselves that they maintain adherence to just as strictly as they expect other people to, but Lucas is a mass of hypocrisies and contradictions, with ZERO demands for himself, he's only bothered by other people not living up to the dictates that he's associated with them when it creates a separation between him and one of his wants.

the hypocrisy is a very good point.
He seems too dumb to effectively manipulate anyone but his efforts to logic himself a bae are equally dumb so, yes. In rethinking his rule-focus, it’s more the “rules are rules” aspy focus of Russell Greer that is definitive of those of low IQ who can’t seem to grasp grey areas. Like whatever must be true bc mommy taught me.

Hahaha "behoovial by law". But even when he's using real words they're not expressing coherent thoughts. He's mimicking the rhythms and cadence of someone who sounds smart and reasonable, speaking more slowly and using the biggest, most impressive words he knows (or has made up). But if he has an idea he's trying to get across in this one I have no earthly idea what it might be.

This is actually one of my favorite Lucas traits, the way he'll try to project reason through tone of voice while the words he is saying are pure insanity. I'm sure we're all familiar with his "eminently reasonable Lucas" voice where he's using his tone to imply that this is all extremely logical, basic, obvious stuff when he talks about his super-sperm or how you're not a real socialist if you don't fuck hobos. The wild part is that to him it is logical, to him it does make sense. Ten years of negative reactions from everyone around him can't convince him otherwise.

Why does he pretend that he knows anything about the gay community, or any other community? He's a complete outcast who's never been embraced by ANY community.

I thought the rule was that you ain't cool unless you're helping him get a girlfriend, or you are the girlfriend. No left wing people are helping him with this, so how are they cool?
