On that note I suspect that the royal elk hunt that lucas expects would happen after the wedding and before the great wedding feast hosted by king roy, goes very much like this in his head:
Just replace bobby with lucas, hank with king roy and the deer with an elk. I wouldn't be surprised if thats accurate right down to lucas expecting the elk to nod to him and acknowledge he's the plenty good heir to the elk kingdom after getting shot
