In this case (since they speak spanish) the -ero suffix means "someone that enjoys, partakes or does in an activity". Much like in spanish a "porrero" is someone that enjoys the devil's lettuce, in this case i think it's the same.

It would apply too to Loliconde. "Conde" in spanish is "count", the nobiliary title.

This Made in Abyss edit must be extremely disrespectful and ridiculous. The fact that the mods even gave this tourist the time of day is an outrage! But is that true? If you check the project's Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/user/Project_ReMiA/) you can find where they post the comic. This is the description:
This is a manga edit of Made in Abyss where sexual content related to underage characters has been removed. Edits are subtle draw overs and text edits. Nothing plot-relevant is changed.

Edits are specifically made for child nudity and perceived fetishistic content (e.g. excessive urine, exhibitionism, bondage). Note: This edit does not remove gore or substantially plot-relevant sexual content.

It's Made in Abyss without the (non plot-relevant) fetish content. But Hideo finds this incredibly offensive to the author and their work because Hideo is a huge advocate for gatekeeping properties from outsiders and invaders who will change the meaning and intent of the work.

But this only applies to things Hideo likes. When McDonald's Japan released a wholesome advertisement featuring a happy family enjoying a meal his mind went to where it always does: porn, duh. The artistic intent or wholesome messaging is cast to the side.

You may have noticed this guy likes lolis but he doesn't just like lolis. If you scroll his xitter you will find petite and buxom adult cosplayers, adult lolis, young lolis, buxom women... he likes everything. An outsider might assume that Hideo is up for anything and he doesn't even realize they're "childlike" at all.

I could look further, but I know others have discussed the topic in this thread and I'm aware that I'm walking on a pretty well-trodden path. It's not "dark themes", as in something like Berserk, stuff like Made in Abyss or the Coffin of Andy and Leyley are pedophilia.

Nah. I checked at the ages of Andy and his sister are early 20s. I haven't played the game and i don't know if there is any kid diddling around. I just know that the game has a lot of implications of incest and cannibalism.

For me it's kind of an indefensible position when they do shit like this. Anyone with a properly functioning brain would be able to link point A and B and find the correlation but these retards really delude themselves in order to say "There is no correlation between a child saying no abortions and my constant lusting over childlike characters".

And is really aggravating the constant default of "they are not real therefore there are no children i'm harming". At this point it really pisses me off.

A lot of people will go above and beyond to defend horrible shit in media as long as it is something that they like. They will say it's "deep and meaningful" or needed to convey the message when the implication of said things happening is probably a lot more horrifying than showing the act, yet these people are unable to understand something like this. At this point i think that people that show graphic content like this so explicitly either have a fetish for it or they want to get popular or shock value.

I really despise the use of sexual imagery in order to disturb people. It's the lowest hanging fruit there is

I watched 2 episodes of this to see what we're really dealing with. I expected autists but they are surprisingly well spoken for complete autistic degenerates. They also have an almost encyclopedic knowledge of what I will call the "shota and loli space". It's only taken me a small amount of my spare time to find everything I've posted in this thread so far. One can only imagine what goes on behind the scenes.

Beside that it's largely uninteresting. Very clinical. One thing that did stand out to me is that Orenji, this one:

The tourist question they always bring up is only defensible when it's something that actually seeks to change the original vision of the author. Like the bastardization of LotR that Amazon and many have been doing in the last years changing the original vision of Tolkien.

But when it comes to see children being brutally mutilated, being tortured while being naked or seeing kids peeing... Dude, if you don't find it distasteful and unnecessary i don't know what to say. This is not a key plot contrievance to explain the world or some character motivation. Having played it with a friend who gifted me on the height of the controversy I can enlighten you guys on this.

Yes, they are portrayed as young adults on the early 20s, they look like young adults in artstyle aswell. And no, the cannibalism is not implied at all, its front and center. There's a minigame where you cook the body parts of a cultist that Andrew kills. The incest is implied as a "tool" that Ashley is willing to employ if it means she gets to control Andrew across the two chapters (the extent I played). And yes, there is a "path" that leads to an actual incest plotline, since it depicts the post-coitous from Ashley and Andrew on the bed.

Basically, this game is some kind of trauma response to a troon with clearly fucked up thoughts (who am I kidding, all troons are mentally ill) that got purity spiralled because of the incest shit.

If modifying something by including things or removing parts of it so people can consume it in a different way if they wish, while the original still exists and no one is forced to used the modified version, is "deeply disrespectful to the source material, the creator, and the fans" and something only tourists would do, then by that logic game modders are disrespectful tourists.

I've never seen people like him complain about mods that make games more sexualized, so I guess it's only bad if things end up less degenerate :roll:
