This guy was considering fleeing the state just so he could keep jerking off to lolicon. He is unable to leave though and is just going to stay and risk arrest:

The most notable post I found was this one. This user hopes that Crunchyroll sues to block the law. However, he also mentions that he is glad this is impacting anime and manga, since that community has a level of sympathy from the public that pedophiles don't have:

I think this is pretty clear proof that pedophiles have seen this situation as an opportunity to get public support by claiming that this ban on drawn CP is actually an attack on anime.

So remember: whenever you see an angry lolicon saying this law is going to "destroy all anime", they are a pedophile trying to trick normal people into defending their perversions. And once they have normalized drawings, they will move onto actual CSAM images and then real life child abuse.

The lolicons are saying that Crunchyroll hosts loli porn, what more proof do you need? :diddler: Being realistic, it is possible that something like Eromanga Sensei or Redo of Healer would be illegal under this law, but Crunchyroll would probably prefer to just remove that <1% of anime from their website than spend untold amounts of cash trying to sue Texas for little financial gain. Not to mention they would lose any such lawsuit.

I don't understand why people can't call lolicons pedophiles, as the very definition of pedophile is the attraction to children (and I'm using the colloquial definition of children as any minor). Pedophilia is different from child molester but they seem to think they're mutually exclusive to one another. So yes, all lolicons are pedophiles by definition. I don't care if they try to weasle out with the cope of "what about flat chested women?" As long as they aren't children then alright.

Pedophile is a byword, lolicon is a loanword that most people have never heard about. Most of the people that defend lolicons are personally motivated lolicons, a lot of the others are personally motivated celebrities trying to appeal to an audience, and most of the rest are personally motivated because they've tolerated lolicon for a while and it would be painful to admit they were wrong.
