I'm wondering something, if Japan took the same stance towards virtual/animated CSEM as the EU does, how much quality Japanese media would be compromised? Shows like One Piece, Dragon Ball, My Dress-Up Darling, and Evangelion, as well as games like Persona could fall under that label. Is that perhaps the reason Japan hasn't cracked down on it? Eliminating loli hentai seems simple and ethical enough, but how far would a law like this go?

In fact, while I was walking with my dogs, I was pondering this. Trying to do a comparison if lolitroons were "criminals" or at the very least types of people who moved back and forth from being in and out the law. I get that, yet for a bunch of people who worship libertine ideals and """mistake""" them for libertarianism, they are odd bedfelows who look a lot like the troons:
  • Rewrite history/psychology/biology in real time;
  • Screech(troons)/Appear to not be mad(lolicons) or dogpile on others(both) upon being proven wrong;
  • Prey on the young and vulnerable;
