I wouldn't be surprised if that was a self inflicted cut.

Edit: The more I think and look at the cut itself, it looks self inflicted. Even if a steak knife is ineffective, there should be a fuckload a lot more evidence of a struggle going on. There should be bruising, and more stabs.

It looks like she made the cut herself. Not deep enough to have been causes by someone else. Shouldn't there be stitches at minimum? Was a police report even filed?

I'm sure there's a Medfag somewhere who can explain it better.
