It wouldn't shock me if A-Log getting an ED article due to his commentaries getting the attention of trolls and then said trolls finding out about everything else he did started the collapse of the commentary community. If what BBC said is true, then him shifting gears to talk about the PC/PS4 Master Race is understandable.

She was hilariously bad. It's a shame she had her internet cut down by her parents before she could get her comic out the door.

I dunno if that's it. There's plenty of others in the CC that got mentioned on ED (like A-Log's "friends", Asaliari and his group, Spax3, BBC and a couple of his victims, and others I can't remember of the top of my head).

If anything, I'd have to blame it on the CC itself. Be it A-log's and Asa's glaring hypocrisies; BBC calling the whole community out; the constant falling for trolls; the well of lolcow material running dry; the amount of morons who think they can produce commentaries; the list goes on.

She was about 15 at the time. Tried acting like she was smarter than the older ones in the guild. (Gaia guild, that is.) She'd delete her threads about her fanfiction if someone gave her even a suggestion that she didn't like.

I think it was the Gothel smut that got them to cut her internet down. She lives on, however, in her badfics. And I have them.

It was pretty obvious that her Mary Sue in the DM fic was a self-insert, especially since she would dress up like her and try putting on a "British" accent.

I seem to recall hearing about one particular guy who did a "Commentary" on Irate Gamer a year or so ago and blatantly tarded over AVGN. I don't think the video's up anymore, but it was by this guy who made really horrible commentaries.

I also recall another guy, who's name won't be mentioned here, that got into a bitch fit with the entire community all because they criticized his videos.

To say he was mentally slow is a HUGE understatement. In fact he blamed his school for giving him Autism, then gave out someone's real life address. And after all that, he was still wondering why everyone else was ganging up against him. Oh and he liked to call people faggots and other slurs on a regular basis (I believe he called me a "Bieber Hater" or some shit like that. It's been over a year so I can't remember).

Moral of the story: The Commentary "Community" sucks.

I had just missed Zeriara and Snapesnogger when they had their respective deviantart drama fun times in like 2006. I was 12 or 13 when they did all their bullshit and still getting used to my internet legs to keep up with internet weird people. zeriara is a dumb stoner now and snapesnoggles is grossly into tf2, neither of them do anything remarkable anymore. i'm upset i missed their fifteen minutes of fame because their ED articles were my favorite back in the day. when dramachan was around one of snoppers old friends posted some sweet gossip about how even though her 15 minutes of fame was over she was still a total drama hog in private, and would get grossly jealous and throw tantrums if her friends would go out with their family or other friends instead of roleplaying with her

I personaly think Zeriara is scary, and would not want to be around her as she is probably dangerous, which is shown in the fact that she abuses animals.

I miss GrantM, a guy in Glasgow, Scotland who, a decade ago, was singularly obsessed with becoming a voice actor for the North American anime dub distributors, Funimation Entertainment and ADV Films (now Sentai) despite

1. not having a particularly pleasant voice to listen to,
2. not having developed any acting skills, and, perhaps, most importantly,
3. not living in Texas where both anime distributors are located.

He used to derail threads only tangentially related to dubbing and got banned from most of the major anime forums by endlessly complaining that people younger than him were already working as voice actors (as though age is the main factor by which people get hired to dub anime) and because he gave off the attitude that he thought he was entitled to dub lead roles in "fan-favorite" anime because of his qualifications of liking anime and speaking English. He was quite infamous for his voice acting demo reel where he kept on saying "Sorry about that ding" anytime the Windows error tone interrupted him (a professional would start over).

I think he mostly outgrew his voice acting obsession around 2007 and he tried reinventing himself on Youtube as "Invisible Crane", a video game critic and general Internet observer in the Larry Bundy Jr. mold despite not being spontaneous, (intentionally) funny, or original and seems to have given that up too.

I'd link to the demo reel but it seems to have been banished from the Internet.

I might have mentioned this guy before, but I can't recall his name. Anyways he considered Princess Peach to be his waifu (though this was back before the term came along, like sometime before Super Princess Peach was released). He had a lot of crappy pictures he drew of himself with Peach, I think the most famous one was where he was "drawing a map of [her] eyes" because "I always get lost in them" or some really dumb and corny shit. I don't recall any drama or epic tantrums but I assume he made a blip on some radars due to the spergy Peach obsession. I'd like to hope he grew up and found a real girl...but chances are he's still fapping to Peach.

I wonder what's become of him since.

He's still around. He's still peddling poorly written stories, and trying desperately to find young and very gullible new writers to contribute stories to his poorly organized anthologies. He won't pay anyone, but he'll happily edit their contributions without their consent to include more profanity and homophobic comments.

And yes, he's still frequently threatening people with rape and/or murder.

Sony-mae, A.K.A. Kessielou. This girl has a thing for characters like Sonic, Yakko Warner from Animaniacs and many Looney Tunes characters.


Then she got into art for Disney's first famous character, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, and I started going after her.

Kessielou is still around. I have her watched on DA. She still pairs all her OCs with cartoon characters. She also still blocks and insults people who try to give constructive criticism, and she swears up and down that her characters aren't Mary-sues. In fact, she sics her fangirls on anyone who dares even say that word around her.

Man, do I miss Ghost, the guy who ran True Capitalist Radio. Tons of people would call in, especially during the Radio Graffiti segment of his talk show, just to see how pissed off he would get over certain things. Sometimes he would get angry enough that he would just scream incoherent nonsense while knocking cans all over the place, and pissing him off enough to do this was considered an achievement amongst callers.

He eventually stopped the show in mid 2012 after he was tired of running his show, with 90% of the people calling in being trolls who just wanted to see him go apeshit and knock over mountains of cans. He has hinted at bringing the show back a few times, but so far, never has, and most likely never will. In the time that he was active, he did some of the most hilarious shit on his show that would take ages to explain in just one post. Hell, I still watch the old episodes on Youtube from time to time.

Just found this thread, but yeah, I do miss Ghost. Truth be told in his last known communication to the fanbase he admitted it was partially an act with his rage (the rest was apparently him venting normal, everyday stress through the absurdity TCR had become) but damn if he wasn't something to behold since he was legitimately quite good at voice acting (as in sounding completely different from his rather distinct accent), and the total meta joke that was the one call where somebody prank-called Hasbro Security with a soundboard of his voice was truly epic. There was also the other time with a soundboard where "he called in" at a radio show and the recording the trolls got evidently had the radio show hosts unintentionally be trolling Ghost because some woman commented that Ghost's voice sounded "gay".

For those who don't know the glory that was True Capitalist Radio, look it up on TV tropes while you listen to some of DarkRazorZ's old recordings. Great for a slow, boring day where you have nothing to do.

I actually spoke with Spax3 (back when he was Spaction3) on a Sonic fan forum a few times, and he seemed a little out there, but a nice enough guy. That went downhill real quick when his YouTube and DA "fame" went through the roof, trolls flooded his accounts with comments on his "art" and videos, and Spax started pulling out the e-lawyer crap on everyone and alienated even his closest friends.

He was huge around 2006-2009, but kind of fell off after that. His ED page is a great read on a slow day.
