I'm new here and first post, but I have had a slew of personal lolcows over the years. I noticed a lot of my good friends began to take on traits of the cows after dealing with them for long enough, like going from hating furries to jerking off to furry porn. Is it normal just to want to retire from all this shit at a certain point and become a normalfag so I don't become corrupted by degenerates?

nigger that's called trollshielding. your friend was always a furry, they just tried to hide it by hating on other furries. you don't "turn into a lolcow" by laughing at them.

It's so gross when your friends tell you what they jerk off too. That's real lolcow behavior. I'd stop talking to friends if they did something like that really, shows a lack of human decency and respect.

You know what this means, don't you?

All your friends have become cows you say? Maybe you're the bad influence? You can tell us, we're here to lend a sympathetic ear.

Yeah, I cut contact with them at that point when they started playing with dead animal carcasses.

I cut contact with them at that moment, I just have a way of finding lunatics.

But to get on to your main point: laughing at retards is not a lifestyle or a hobby, and if it is your hobby, you are insane. I pop in here every so often to laugh at retards and then go back to my life, there's nothing complicated about it, nothing to "quit", I'm not engaged to begin with.

Just taking a stroll threw the sideshow, nothing more.

Watching lolcows is basically like watching a stream online, with roughly the same amount of interactivity. You just observe, maybe you get noticed by whatever is entertaining you (even if you look pathetic if you try desperately for them to notice you), and you chat with the people watching it with you. In that regard, calling watching lolcows a "hobby" is like calling watching a stream a "hobby." You're not really doing anything nor are you improving a skill, you're just amusing yourself. That's not a bad thing, but it's still not a hobby. Making threads is a different story, but same thing in regards to being a hobby. It's just something you do to distract yourself. You also never "become" a lolcow the same way you don't magically transform into whatever the stream you're watching is about. The only way that happens is if you already had a predisposition going in.

Anyway, if you want to post about your ex-friends, there are personal lolcow threads which have much lower standards and encourage more anonymity. If you don't care about yourself possibly getting linked to the individuals they're on, you can post a thread in the prospering ground (and nowhere else unless you really want it to get railed) and making sure you archive and provide photos of anything that's relevant. If it's good enough, a mod will move it into the public forums for you. Note that the impetus is on you. If you post just a few links and sentences, nobody's going to do the leg work for you. People will only help if you demonstrate it's something worth pursuing.

don't judge me
He isn't wrong.

I have absolutely no intent on doing that.

Unsure whether OP is a faggot or not...he does bring up a common concern, however the way he says it is pretty autistic.

Is he a fagnot, a combo of the two?
