So how much you want to bet that JewTube does nothing about him since he has a ton of subscribers?

Wouldn't be the first time they refused to ban someone even though they violated the terms of use, just because it was a popular youtuber.

Well, we don't know if he's kept his hands (and penis) to himself thus far. So we can't rule out that possibility, but regardless he's guilty of both possession and distribution of child porn. He can go to jail for a long time for both of those crimes even if he's never preyed upon a kid in r/l.

I probably would have mentioned him in the Minecraft YouTubers thread before it got locked. However, since y'all said it would be okay to make a thread on anyone who warrants one, and believe me, I'm pretty sure this pedocow deserves this thread 100%, especially with the recent drama surrounding him, I am deciding to make this thread.

Meet LionMaker Studios, an autist in the Minecraft Community that was recently exposed to be a pedophile (and a practicing one at that). He is most known for two things: 1) his shitty Minecraft videos and 2) the fact that he, a 27 year old grown-ass man, groomed a 15 year old girl and exposed her nudes on twitter. In fact, this girl is not his only victim, as PedoMaker has actually had a history of grooming and getting off on little kids showing off their butts to him and actually tried to get the nudes of a 13 year-old girl once.

In fact, there have been quite a few videos discussing him and his pedophilia, including the videos that Keemstar/DramaAlert has been uploading describing the situation:

Were pedos this common in the past? Even, like, ten years ago? There seems to have been a sudden, huge, surge of them from out of nowhere. What prompted this?

There were child brothels operating in both New York and London in the 19th century. NAMBLA was a thing in the 1960s, as were child porn magazines and films.

This is all pretty much conjecture based on what I've observed, but it might help regardless:

It's not so much a surge in pedophilia as it is the pedophiles in question getting too comfortable.

Ten years ago there were not such widespread public discussions on the subject of "what can we do to combat pedophilia". Where it was once met with an overwhelming "lock them all up and throw away the key" the dialogue has now shifted in a different direction. SJWs in particular have promoted the ideology that pedophilia itself isn't wrong, rather it's the resulting actions that are. Plus you take into account the existence of sites like "Virtuous Pedophiles" and parts of the internet have become breeding grounds for misguided sympathizers.

While I am in favor of the discussion turning towards more humane ways to stop horrific child abuse before it has the chance to start, this shift in attitude has created an environment where pedophiles aren't as guarded. That's why you have pedophiles openly advocating on Salon and why Sarah Butts' supporters are actually defending him instead of keeping quiet for fear of being caught in an FBI dragnet.

So it's not that the numbers have increased, rather it's just that we view it as such an abhorrent crime that the guilty parties get increased attention from the public at large.

Why is it that the only place you can have a reasonable conversation about stuff like this is at places like the Farms? Even the Chans can have civil discussions about serious stuff like this. But lord help you if you so much as hint that you think it might be bad to not be mentally healthy on a place like Tumblr or a good portion of the public message boards nowadays. They'll crucify you. Say you are 'ablist' or some stupid shit like that.
Some things will never be okay. No matter how accepting the world becomes. Pedophilia is one of them.

I think it's a mixture of this and the fact that (Western) society is beginning to truly accept that anyone can potentially be a paedophile. The Jimmy Savile + Operation Yewtree saga in the UK has really hammered this point home, but paedophiles are no longer perceived as the stereotypical strange blading men in long brown coats hanging around outside schools handing out lollipops to the kids and offering them a ride in their windowless vans. In the past, if someone was outed as a paedo, then they would be labelled as 'different' (beyond the kiddie stuff), as if there was a warning sign that they weren't 'quite right' anyway. People are beginning to realise en-mass that this isn't always the case, especially in the age of the internet where it is far easier to communicate with children.

To anyone who hasn't seen it, Brass Eye (a British satirical TV show by Chris Morris) did a really good job of lampooning media attitudes to paedophillia. The episode was made in the early 2000s, but still partly rings true today.

Exactly, we live in an age where people are finally realizing how long it takes the human brain to mature into what could be considered "an adult" and starting to respect that. Without the advent of modern psychology I doubt that society would have come to such an understanding.
